I thought I would start things off by saying there is alot of stuff around the forums around backlinking and getting them indexed but it is somewhat dispersed across multiple threads. My aim here is to collect peoples best practises around what actions each of us take to get backlinks indexed by the big G as quickly and effectively as possible. So please share your methods successes and importantly failures also.

I think we all know that getting the backlink is only 50% of the job. The remaining effort needs be getting these links actually indexed by Google and therefore attributed to your domain link profile.

My current method is to run the online 'link diagnosis' tool which will then provide me with current links for my domain. I export this as a CSV file and sort them according to link strength. I then place the strongest links (the ones worth spending time on) into the Scrapbox link indexer addon tool (no arguments here, Scrapebox is an exceptional tool - search here on the forums if you do not know about it and buy it - period).

I then take the links which are not indexed and create a master RSS feed to include all these links using the online host my rss and ping the living be-jesus out of the rss feed again using scrpaebox and my custom rss pinging urls.

I am sure I can be doing much more than this so please everyone share your experiences:)

Thanks for posting this. But some quick questions, where can I find this "link diagnosis" tool? By link indexer addon do you mean Rapid Indexer? I thought this was for only indexing the root domain of a site? How do you create a master Rss feed? Mind sharing your custom rss pinging url's?

    Thanks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yes, sorry that was not very clear at all was it...

The link tool I use which I have been using for years and never fails me is Link Diagnosis.

What I meant to say is the 'check indexed' function in scrapebox to check whether the page in which your backlink sits is actually indexed in big G.

The rss facility is hostmyrss in which you simply paste in the urls of the pages and create it. In seconds you will have a valid rss feed to ping the hell out of.

    My rss services are currently;

You can only have it open in window at a time. On occasions you will get the 'retrying' screen scrolling down which I just simply close the window and do it again never had any trouble for the most part.

Scrapebox is definitely a great software for pinging. I've actually seen results way more than the statblaster software. She's pretty amazing at keeping it updated too especially since Google loves switching things up all the time.

Creating an rss feed with the urls of your backlinks is the best idea i have come across to date. Like hostmyrss, html2rss does the same thing with a tab at the top of the screen called "url to rss" (or something like that). I create a rss feed then submit it to rss feed aggregators, then i social bookmark the rss feed. It has worked not to bad so far. But by all means if some one has a better systems i am more then happy to hear it.

I thought about starting a blogger blog putting all my links in there and builing backlinks to that. I am not sure how this would. But i think it work similar to the rss feed system.

@Paperchase - Scrapebox is the main weapon for pinging although I also couple this with Howies pinger service as well. I only use this once I have creaated a master rss with up to 100 links and then ping that with scrapebox and howie.

Another method I have been using is to create a free page somewhere respectable and create 3 pages. The first is a plr crap thing but reads well, the second is another plr article and at the bottom I chuck hundreds of links from my LFE blog blast and then a another page with a PLR article.

By doing this your spammy links at the bottom of the second post are hidden well so people will not report as spam (it will not be on the front page of the free page you see - sandwiched between the first and third page) and then ping and howie the url with the links. This seems to help get all those links indexed fairly quickly and in some cases I have even seen some decent PR from the paage the spammy links are sitting on....

@N8800 - you may find loading a free page up using this method with a huge amount of links may work? The basis of this of course is that you can focus upon promoting just one link rather than 250k or whatever the amount was you were targeting.

There isn't that tool in my Scrapbox.
Do you mean Rapid Indexer tool ?

If yes, just to tell you that that one work only for top domains.
    Not for pages.
