Just asking on the slim chance a super piece of advice can be shared that I'd not already thought of.

So, I have around 2 million followers but only about 8k fans on my FB Fanpage. Other than linking to my FB Page from the website, adding the URL to my Twitter's profile and tweeting now and again asking for people to become a fan of my FB Page, are there any other good methods to get my followers to become a fan (assuming they use Facebook of course)?

I have a similar hurdle, but i am managing to slowly convert my twitter followers to facebook page followers.
I am using tweetadder4 which was good until it was updated recently. but the program still has this neat welcome message function as well as automated private mass messaging feature.
When a user follows my twitter account an automated message is sent out with my facebook url, and for already existing members i send out an automated message with the fb url.
Tends to convert slowly, maybe announcing a competition for fb followers only and advertising it on your twitter account might work.
Im still yet to try that.

    Best of luck

I've tried this before but it was on a celebrity fan website where I offered some merchandise to a random fan after the Fan Page had climbed past 10,000 followers. It did work, but guess the prize needs to be something the followers would be really keen on. I'd have to have a think about that as my Twitter account doesn't spring up any obvious prizes, apart from a Shout Out.

I've seen people tweet things such as "Follow @user and we'll follow back - hurry!" - and all the accounts do is tweet stuff like that, even though they don't follow back. It must work as I see it a lot. Perhaps something along those lines might work, but it's morally wrong, as I wouldn't be following back.
