Getting traffic to my blog is almost impossible

A little rant here:
- my blog is 1 year old, and it has 150 articles on it
- I have a facebook page (7k followers), a facebook group (1k members), an X account (1,2k followers), instagram (3,5k followers), and Pinterest
- it gets 2k monthly visitors from Google and Bing
- it gets another 200 monthly visitors from social

Getting traffic is literally impossible:
- X limits the reach whenever I include a link, Instagram doesn't let you include links in posts, only in stories, Facebook drastically reduces the reach when you include a link, both on the page and in the group
- I had many posts go viral on Facebook - both on the page and in the group, with millions of views, but only a couple of clicks to my website
- No matter what I post, on ANY social media platform, it doesn't lead to clicks to my blog; even if some post goes viral, I don't get traffic, so no money
- My ezoic EPMV is $2 to $3, even though 95% of my traffic is from the United States

No matter what I do, I cannot get people on my blog to make some money - even $100 a month would be awesome for me.
What the hell am I doing wrong? Please help!

If you do some basic math, this means you get 67 clicks per day. Which is not even 1 click per article per day.

I personally think either you didn't focus on the backlinking part and EEAT or something is really wrong with the way you have targeted keywords.

This. Add more quality blog posts and get more traffic. Accept for pinterest, which is a sort of search engine, rest of 'em dont want you to funnel their social media traffic to your site without paying.

Better alternative is to explore ways to make money with Facebook page. There are many ways and you can make more than current revenue that way. Sell the blog also for return on work done so far.

Have you tried Reddit? You can get crazy traffic from there if you go viral.

It is also saturated now. There were threads offering this service on BHW but those bsts are now dead.

If he managed to go viral on FB, he can also go viral on Reddit.

What's the percentage of your clicks per post?

Welcome to the year of 2024.

I think it's a conspiracy.
The big "guys in black" just don't want people to earn money online by any means.

Everything made harder, huge amounts of bans everywhere, whenever you get some traffic or money, you get shut down and/or banned.

Google favors reddit not small or even mid or big size blogs.
Content doesn't get any traffic.

AI content is also banned.
When you make any money on your shopify or whatever then you get money on hold or taken away from you.

And questions asked where you got the money.


Revolut started to ask why I'm sending 5€ to some unknown address.
Tell us who is the receiver. Where he lives etc.

There is a workaround but Wtf??

Unfortunately, I cannot use reddit as a traffic source.

I guess the only way is to move forward and grow my socials, put more content on the website and so on...

You're not doing anything wrong, but you're falling behind.

Focus on boosting your social media followers and posting more content across all platforms. Also, prioritize link-building efforts to increase traffic; backlinks generate traffic through referring domains.

Build organic traffic significantly to achieve stable results for your blog.

I already though about that possibility.
There is bans everywhere and it's getting harder and harder make money online.

There is no conspiracy but there is too many people already trying to make money online nowdays... too many millions people that's why there is too much competitors.

So there is lower chances to get lot of traffic..

It seems like everyone is against you - sure it sounds like I am nuts/schizo, but I can't help it. LOL.

I have a blog I created since 2017, and I did the SEO myself as it's my strength point - it used to receive around 450k UV a month and was able to generate 4 figures a day actually, but since August 2023, Google start to act like a MF and no matter how hard I push in SEO, the old big sites which created since 1995 - 2005 are over ranking me.

This and start with very low competition keywords, once indexing of posts get's better there will be higher chances of future posts getting indexed and better rankings, plus if you miss backlinks then eventually your rankings will drop, relevant backlinks are must to sustain the rankings

100% agreed. Reddit is a great source of traffic if you play the right cards.
Don't be spammy and warmup your accounts.

Why don't you try and rank some of your content on the search engines. Write some guest posts, do some basic link building, connect with other relevant bloggers and slowly start improving your search traffic.

If you focus on your content and every month rank some of those content in search engines then slowly things will start to improve.

work on your organic growth, find long tail and low difficulty keywords. Build authority in your niche, if your site is not performing leave and start a new blog. Dont waste your time on a blog which is not performing after 1 year. Dont use ai to write content create some helpful and amazing content which really provide some value to the user.

Nowadays it's hard to start without any previous built authority
