Guys, I started im back in july...my blog about a niche is from mid july and until now I really had ~0 traffic if not paid or spammed one, now I start seeing some traffic and some real impressions from google webmasters, from the beginning of november the top keyword from which my site is being hitted has 22k impressions and 150 clicks, I know still crap but it is the first tangible result I am getting from the start of this blog. Now, the strange thing is that the keyword is 1 word long....wtf? google is telling me I got 150 people from this word when I am not even in the top100 of google for this keyword...someone explain this to me please? thanks

Yes, it is possible in the case of BLOGS. For example, you published a blog post related with PARIS HILTON in your blog. Your blog is not in top 100 for the keyword PARIS HILTON but when someone will search PARIS HILTON, your blog may be in first page or second page and so on..

    Why?

Recently, Google changed its algorithm and now shows the results which are recent published related with search term or keywords. Therefore most of the blogs are not in top 100 but they get traffic for a particular keyword if someone search for that keyword.
