Im not asking how to get started :) after reading alot here on this board i have enough ideas. I want to start with some smalltime things and then move on with the experience and the money. and i now i got some cash to get started.

So here is my question, How do you get organised? software, general managment etc. if i build an empire of chaos i will get somewhere but not far
    • -how do you organise the endless accounts of whatever service for your backlinks?
    • -keep track of your blogfarm (lots of pages links, you need to know what you own) diagrams
    • -total revenue (outsourcing, ads, hosting, beer)
    • -plugins you use, scripts etc
    • -overview of your "empire" blackhat, whitehat, offline
    • -contact stuff, people, your aliases
    • - passwords! important

(of course i know things like outlook etc, but i lack the experience you got whether its good on a larger scale and whats not)

Maybe I'm old-fashioned, but I have everything written down in a REAL notepad and also on my computer's notepad.

i use excel to count number (like backlink, sale etc), and note pad for email list and some information that i need for quick save and paste . For password i use robo form, it's the best software to save password. You may remember 10 or 20 login info but how you can remember all the different password for more than 100 websites. Roboform is very useful, it's a must have software. Download it from here,

    it's free for BHW

Can I also ask something, if we started using proxies for for example posting on cl, would we need to record all the different ones we have, so if we have to go back to cl, we would still use the same proxy.
sorry if this is a noobish question but I dont think ive found it written yet, and sorry for poaching your thread, but its also about organising your accounts.

I use sticky password to store all the passwords. Its an awesome tool to keep track of all the sites, usernames, different accounts and passwords. I'm currently using the 30 day trial, I'm willing to buy it if I'm unable to find a crack..makes your life much easier..

for everything else.. there is EXCEL use that and you might not need anything else!

yes, don't use the same one, or your ads will be linked and both ( or more ) will be flagged / ghosted.

My advice is to stop reading and start doing! You don't need a lot to test on CL. Place a couple ads and test it. Only when you know what you're doing do you need to scale it up.
