Getting people to sign up under affiliate link

Hey guys, I've been reading the forum for a few months now, have made some money in the process, and I am trying to get a new project started up. I joined a site where If I get someone to signup under my affiliate link, and buy something, I get $10. It is a clothing website I really like and am really looking forward to promoting it.

If anyone could give me some tips or ideas on promoting my affiliate link that would be great. I have found a lot of people here have great ideas, and hope that some can help me out!

For starters, you can sign up at some big clothing forums, and add the link to your signature.

Or you can make a small website using wordpress and do seo for not very competitive keywords, and get some organic traffic.

I'd recommend having your own website (use wordpress as the platform).

When I say "wordpress" I mean install it from cpanel via fantastico.

I agree, try out some CPA networks and work on getting people to fill out their info. for ca$h to stack quicker. Save some of that up and then go all out on more promotions with the right software/tools you need.
