Is there any warm up time needed on new tiktok accounts for videos to actually get views?

I have my personal old account, and if I put a video on there, I start getting views in a few minutes, some take off and get 25k+ so I know the content I'm posting is ok.

I'm trying to start new accounts, but everyone I do, views sit at 0 for up to 2 hours, and then maybe I get 1 - 5 views, that's it ‍♀️ I've tried different phones, different sims etc etc, and this content is the same as the ones getting 25k+ on my other account.

I'm doing everything "normally" through the app, the accounts are not shadow banned as I can see them and the videos from other accounts...

Any one else experienced this? How to get a new account actually off the ground and get some views?!

I read that accounts need to be 2 weeks old before videos will be pushed on the FYP, does anyone know if that's true?

I made a new account yday and posted a video right away (some random vid i had lol) it got 500 views in a few hours, then i tried uploading a vid with a girl and its stuck on 0 views for a day now (ive edited it with some text) maybe there's OCR on tiktok which I doubt, or I just had to add some effect to the video since I downloaded it from tiktok

I opened a new instagram profile a few hours ago and posted a video, it started getting some visuals only after 3 hours.
I advise you to wait for now.

I think Tiktok algorithm is a bit random
sometime you get many views
sometime is just zero

There is a shadow ban, and it is clearly visible if you download videos from the emulator. If this is done correctly from a real device, then the problem with 0 views is solved simply. For example, if you upload 5 videos and some of them are hanging on 0 views, this does not mean that your account is in a shadow bath, it means that someone has already uploaded these videos (which are hanging on 0) to TikTok, which is logical that TikTok will not give views to these videos. If you take videos from another source, for example, YouTube, etc., then you should not hope that these videos will be able to gain at least 1 viewing, since a huge number of people upload videos and it is impossible to know for sure if this video is in TikTok, unless, of course, you have already seen it. Give the video uniqueness, banal mirror reflections and silly effects, especially if it's pointless to do it through TikTok. If you unify the video, then do it in Premiere Pro and other programs. Of all the above, I can advise one thing, if you upload a video, then try to unify it, and then, with more probability, it will gain views. But there are still many factors that do not give good coverage on video, and it may not be just a matter of uniqueness.

Good point, do you know if there's a simple software that will add basic effects and stuff ? I want this process to be less time consuming instead of doing premiere pro etc.

Unfortunately, I do not know, but in Premiere Pro you can make a template and just insert a video into it and already output the processed videos for further input to TikTok

I had the same issue, I uploaded a video I made and got some views, then tried to download better videos than mine and 0 views for sometime like a day or so and then it picked up few likes later on. not sure if TikTok knows that this video is stolen somehow or what. but seems like they do hide the stolen ones.
