My dad is getting tired of his job and wants to make a career change. I suggested internet marketing and he said yes. So this weekend I'm going to have him read everything he can on this site and try to teach him the basics. He's not the most tech savvy person so what would be a good way to get him started? Don't say ewhoring because I know he wouldn't do that and writing articles is just a no no for him.

Haha cool try the easiest 100 a day method you can outsource it so there is no article writing involved.

Teach him easiest 100 a day method/outsource it, AND e-whoring!!

seriously, get him involved in affiliate programs or something, ....
Copeac..?!... Survey/Offer sites?? :D JK

I'm thinking about getting him started with some CL methods and maybe cookie stuffing.

lol dude

My dad is a real estate agent, and he's tired of his job also..

and i talked to him about internt marketing and he said yes..

and he doesnt want to do BH. he's doing mostly WH right now..

ahhaha

Stuffing for sure!!..

Every middle-aged person in the world should know about it!!....

Have HaRRo teach him a little!!

How old is your dad? Tell him it's the most fun he'll have with his clothes on! I've wandered around this rock for more than half a century and have just recently begun to go over to the dark side. It's a freakin' blast!

My only regret is not starting sooner... muwahahahaha

My dad is 46 and if I do mention it to him there's a good chance he'll say no before I can explain what it is.

tell him to script up a ton of automation with
http://u-bot.org/content/download-u-bot

and make some crazy dating account creator and spam some adult affiliate program or some shit :D

I was kidding about the ewhoring part. What I meant was BH, in general, is the most fun he can have with his clothes on.

If he is not too tech savvy, Consolidate stuff that he can read, rather than letting him loose on the forum. It can be extremely confusing processing the amount of information that he will come across. Actually that applies to most starters referred into this. The younger ones have more time to learn, as they grow older they need results.

So sit down and figure out what would you classify as the easiest thing to do with great results.

One thing which should be considered for quick money is designing websites, outsource the work. Help him out its no big deal to get a couple of grand a month. And in the mean time you can keep teaching him some basics, and yes expose him to the forums eventually, he'll surely at least check what e-whoring is all about, even if he does not try it. But as Harro said never say never.

Reminds me of a friend who got curious as to his grandfathers hushed up activities and the reason he was always holed up in his room.. So i checked it out for him one day.. He was running an Adult Website, pirating porn and had a website dedicated to his magazine collection (all playboy editions from the early 50's to 2001). It was 2001. Could have never guessed that he would even think about it.. and yeah in his case it was never... until that day of course!!

Cheers!!

edit: and yes, no offense intended, so just ignore the part of the e-whoring as it already been talked about a lot.

i didn't know it's bring dad to work day today!!!
heck what do you call a person who has alot of e-whores?
an e-Pimp ?
maybe my dad can be an E-pimp!

my dad is home sick for a while, has some dizzy spells and a heart murmur that the doctors have no idea whats causing it, why, or anything really. he said hes so friggin bored and wants out of the house more then anything..

i would get him started on this stuff but he can barely use a cell phone
outsource him my work...

there ya go... start an income stream and outsource it to your dad.. a trustworthy employee who you will feel good about paying...

I don't want to outsource to my dad. That's too costly, I want to show him how he can make his own money and outsource it himself.

OK, enough non-advice...

Although I haven't been a member here for very long, I HAVE been in this racket for quite some time. Like I said earlier, I'm no spring chicken, either.

After coming here, this was one of the first things I read http://www.blackhatworld.com/blackhat-seo/making-money/15121-your-guide-making-money.html and I found it extremely useful.

Between that post and some of the other useful "how-to's" posted around here, you ought to be able to come up with more ideas than you AND your dad can handle for a long, long time. Just take a look at each of the forums and pay attention to some of the stickied threads. That's where some of the best ideas live and you almost can't help but find something he'll be interested in.

Why not teach him your earning methods? Whatever you do make sure teach him something that will yield results timely, he will not be motivated to do it long (IM in general) if success doesn't come too soon, TRUST me. It kills the spirit when you don't get things right the first time, especially if pre-frustration. I recommend cookie stuffing forums at first, I can PM you a forum that isn't properly/hardly/heavily moderated and thank you posts are allowed, and you can stuff a loot of clickbank products where the threads have already been posted. I made $47.00 on one product first night, but I'm extremely lazy and never returned to doing it :( Good luck, oh sorry if this violates the no cookie stuffing talk outside the cookie stuffing forum policy, although I'm just giving a general advice and not specifics, I'm not too sure but edit it if it does.
