    Hi there,
I have a site with 8k+ Unique visitors a month. The site about animation videos streaming. I am currently using:

    1. Adbrite: pays like $1.20 a day.
    2. Amazon store. ( nothing made till now)
    3. Widgetbucks. ( nothing made.. just $0.03 sometimes)
    4. Adsense ( sux)
    5. Affiliate links for downloads etc. ( no conversions)

Please guide me through for making money out of this. I never had a chance of monetizing my sites well no matter how much I try.

One of the traps I fell into for most of my years of building websites was not understanding the commercial intent of the web traffic I was trying to grab.

After much anger, frustration, and sorrow, I discovered that a website I built that brought in lots of traffic had practically no commercial intent. In other words, hell will freeze over before these visitors turn loose of a penny. The best I could ever do was monetize through adsense because when all else fails, they will click on a link looking for more free information.

You can check the commercial intent of the keywords you are targeting at http://adlab.microsoft.com/Online-Commercial-Intention/. I like to look for 70% and better commercial intent for keywords targeting products and affiliate programs.

The key is to spend your time targeting keywords with high commercial intent, and if you are monetizing with adsense, you'll often find that that some of the higher paying terms also have a high commercial intent.

So, if you aren't making much money on your adsense or other clicks, don't blame Google for being cheap because it's probably your own fault for working on the wrong project.

Well there are always way to get money out of visitors. Over 25,000 Views a month is not a child's play ground. What about stuffing etc ?

@b0atzrocks: I have a cs script. Can you please explain me how to stuff amazon and ebay. I am completely newbie in that. :(

I'm experiencing the exact same problem with 70k visitors a day.

    Most 15 yr olds.

Cookie Stuffing amazon.... thats interesting. It makes me nothing at the moment so there's nothing to lose.

These are great tips! And, I learned this the hard way too. I feel yer pain man. Lost of blood, sweat and tears and as you so aptly put it, "hell will freeze over before these visitors turn loose of a penny". If you follow this obviously experienced individuals advice you will be better off. In addition, I recommend using two techniques I recently adopted.

    1. Use Adsense Filter to filter out all LOW paying advertisers. It's a pain in the arse to figure out who they are but if you're wasting clicks on 5 cent payouts and want to move up to $5 payouts per click, it may be worth the time to you.

    2. I use a few PPA offers related to my demographic and then an Adsense Image add that matches the size. They are stacked on top of one another and the bottom one says, "Ads by Google", so it looks like all of them are ads by Google. The top two offers pay $25 - $35 per action and the Google ad pays whatever it pays when they click.

Why would you guys cookie stuff? If you're getting a good amount of traffic, depending on the niche, build a mailing list.

Get an account at Aweber.com and collect emails. Do surveys to find out what your visitors want or are interested in, and then offer a product or service.

Also FYI, cookie stuffing is not for noobs. Do some research if you decide to CS, otherwise you're going to spend 2 months thinking you're going to get payed, and the week before you get paid they ban your account.

Yea .. we can include your suggestion too ( CS is a must :) ) ...

@swipetek: I am going to try CS for a while and if it pays the effort then I'll carry on. And yes your idea of mailing list seems good to me. Only problem is the traffic is mostly 12 - 18 atmost. Also I dont have any experience regarding collecting emails and other stuff. Can you help me out with that.

Thanks very much for that information. I've ran into this same exact issue the original poster has, except I'm running only about 2k uniques per day. I checked out my site with this tool you suggested and low and behold my site has a .78% non-commercial intent. Guess I kind of smacked myself in the head by choosing the project I did. I've read through most of the idea's people had here, but to be honest, since cookie stuffing isn't something I am familiar with, probably won't be trying that. So in the end I think I just might sell the site for 5 or 6 grand, and just get rid of it, and move on to another project. But definitely thanks for the info.

    Cheers
