I've recently started growing an Instagram account associated with a very popular niche. My strategy was/is to upload on a daily basis at more or less the same times-evenly spaced throughout the day. The account is growing at an acceptable rate but as I acquire new followers they naturally gravitate towards the most recent images, leaving my earlier uploads virtually untouched in comparison. Has anyone else dealt with this?
I may be overthinking it but it is giving my account a very unnatural feel. Recent uploads getting 50+ likes while earlier uploads are stuck at 10 or even less. My instinct is telling me to use an iOS app to send likes to the earlier posts just to even things out but I am unsure if this is the right way to go about things. Perhaps deleting the older photos and re-uploading would make more sense?
note: when I say older photos I'm talking about photos that are 4-7 days old.
Any input would be appreciated!
Thanks,
Stansy
