So i've been messing around with SEO for a bit, and i want to get into more black hat stuff. I was wondering if some of you can share your thoughts on picking a niche.

I want to make some sort of content generated site/blog. So i've been looking for a niche.

What would you call an amazing niche as far as stats?

Im looking at keywords that give me less than 50,000 competitors in google. and daily searches of 2,000? Does that sound like a good goal? Any recomendations?

I am using Niche Inspector mostly, on brainstorm mode. When I do this i seem to get mostly products. Which seems like it would be hard to generate content for. What do you guys look for? a product? or more of a general niche you can generate better content for?

For example, "adidas running shoes" vs "competitive running" is what i would call a product vs a niche.

Thanks for helping a newb out.
