    Hello.

My ebay limits are 100/5,000. I am going to hit the 100 mark at some point in mid-march. My account has only had 1 month since the first sold item.

If I call E-Bay once I hit the limits will they ask for my DOB and SS#? I am 16, and the age they state you must be is 18. I doubt many of you have had this problem, because most are over 18.

    Also,
I will be hitting $20,000 total payments in paypal in a few months. Will they be asking me for information once I hit that mark and will they ban me if they find out I am 16?

I have yet to have to give my DOB or SS#.

I really have no family or anyone over the age of 18 to put my account under.

    Thanks ---

Well I take it that you entered a fake DOB to register for these accounts at first, correct? I was going to say, add a #SSN of a family member, friend, etc. But in your case even that's not possible i guess. Your only option now would be to buy a stealth account(s), and when you get close to the 200/$20k limits, get another one. After you become 18, just go back to your real paypal account and enter your information (or open a new 'real' a/c) then. Long as I remember regarding eBay, they do ask you to confirm the last 4 #SSN (or the complete #SSN - Can't remember exactly) and they did ask for my DOB to confirm initially if I was the account holder. (Other questions I remember: address, zipcode, phone number). Good luck!

I could most likely get a family member to agree to let me use their SSN. But that SSN is under a different name than my name (which I am using in Paypal).

And when tax time rolls around, what am i going to do about that?

Also, on ebay when you are listing an item it asks what paypal address you want the payment to be to.

If every 200 transactions, I create a paypal stealth and change the paypal address in the ebay listing will ebay get suspicious?

    Thanks
