Getting a Blogger Featured on Sites Like Huffpost & Some Other Websites

Guys I have a client/friend who is a travel blogger.He earns more than enough from his blog & got quite a following on Instagram

Many of his what we say competitors/fellow bloggers got featured on Nat Geo,CNN,Huffpost etc.

But till now He didn't & because of that he is losing some brand collabs as Brands tends to go for the bloggers who are in the news/who have been featured on Big Websites/TV Channels/Newspapers.Getting featured on Big Sites always helps in Reputation.

He wants to Get featured on Nat Geo or Huffpost & Some Indian news websites Like DNA,Mid-day,Indian Express

I know that many people do it so...

Tell me/Suggest what's the best approach to do that?

Outreach or Pitch the PR Team Of Respective Websites

Someone Suggested Press Release Medium but as far I know Non of PR distribution sites feature news on Nat Geo or CNN

Who can do it?

Hire a freelancer to pitch the PR team

Some Marketing Agency

Anyone here who does that?

Money is not a issue here

Thanks for the reply,I know that many people do & there are people in BHW who do that stuff thats the reason I posted here.Money is not an issue here I have mentioned it at the post end.He has a high budget for doing that

Dmitry really knows his stuff but as with everything, this will require quite some work and effort.

I would probably recommend starting reading his blog.

The most important thing is coming up with a unique STORY.

Something that journalists would like to write about.
 
Why HuffPo specifically? Would any large western media outlet do? Many medium-sized or local outfits would be willing to write an article for an advertising client. Or if a given outlet is a subsidiary of a parent company, you might be able to do a media buy in one outlet and get an article in another.
 
I am one of those people who has been on those large websites.

There is no simple trick. You need to develop a reputation and network and get to know people who write for those publications. Then you can be used as a source for articles and get links.

Looks like a PR Agency But Still I will try to contact him & see what he can do
