Hey,

I'm currently trying the password a torrent and make them fill out an offer (that old gem  ), I've got a set of strong adult(ish) torrents that get me about 300 downloads a day, my problem is I'm having difficulty getting them to convert. Currently I'm framing the r u d e affiliate program and sticking it in a html file, thing is my conversion rate is only about 4%. Surely it must be higher than that? Can anybody recomend any ways to improve upon this? Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks

try switching from adultish sites cuz these aren't very looked amongst people, if they're also asking for a CC ( the adultish site that is ) your conversion rates will go down the drain ... just my 2c

if the downloads are in exe format i can help you big time

drop me a pm

The files are just zip files at the moment, although I am toying with moving into ppi in the future, depending on how this works for me.

As I say, I've framed the offer so theres no adultness to it (no cc either, its just a free sign up that pays out $1), its just a straight name/email form, maybe I'll experiment with the wording and appearance of the instructional file.

Heres a little tip.. instead of zipping them use winrar then instead of placing a text file you can use the comment section of the rar file to instruct them to go to http://xxx.xx which of course you setup to redirect to your offer, and make your offer something quick and simple like a zip submit or an email submit, however if you use an email submit word your instructionssomething like ' make sure you enter a REAL email....the password is the 5th word in the reply email" something along those line. hope that helps your conversion a bit

Is your offer US only? Depending on where you are posting your torrent at you can probably only expect to get 5-10% US downloads so a 4% conversion rate seems pretty good.

Hmmm, looks like I worked my conversion ratio out a little wrong, its probably nearer 7% on closer inspection, is this good for torrents? Mmmmmm, maybe if I can get it to 1000 downloads a day we'd have something worth doing. The offer I'm running looks to be worldwide, its UK, US and some of Europe at the very least.

Quick question bigboy, do you actually provide them with a real password? Its a nice way to keep the torrent seeded but wouldn't some smart guy just post the password in the torrent comments?

RUDE requires an email confirmation else you wont get the $1...maybe that's the problem...they sign up but don't click on the activation link in the mail that they get from Rude.

As far as PPI goes, I was doing it until I set up a VM system and test what the crap it did. It's almost imposable to get off your system. So, I stop promote it. I know what I HATE getting crap on my computer that I can't get off... just my 2 cents...

Good Luck and happy Holidays

Nasty stuff

I did this little :) Put some vid i had in rar and named them "xxx brazzers bla bla bla" and put on comment

go to : my parked page and lick the 1st blue link pw is 2nd word in header. like that :)

with epc of .40-.20 paris hilton's sex tape brought in like 30€

the "braz" videos didint do that well :) but i think the conversion was quite high well ofc you can get banned for this. But if you spread it enough i think theres no worries since they cant specify the crap traffic sources so well. try it

important note : remember to rename the file in rar matching what your promoting :) "girl fked xxxxx" in rar and " teletubbies season 1 FULL + extras in 1 file" as video wont do good

I'm also having trouble monetizing my torrents; PPI are usually easily detectable and people report the torrent and its removed quickly; people dont usually open/read the text files or visit the sites in them

=/
