I know he is going through a lot and I have sympathy for him, but I have been building up a reselling business for the last year. I have refunded everyone who purchased a monthly plan, I use PayPal and Stripe, Stripe doesn't refund the fee's, so I'm out of pocket there. I have hosting fee's, bucket fee's which aren't cheap. I have had to put my website on hold as you cannot sell out of date plugins and themes and expect returning customers. I have seen posts on FaceBook, calling me a scammer because I delayed refunds (I added extra days to the monthly plans at the start) but then it was obvious it wasn't going to be over quickly, so I started refunding, which took quite a while as I'm disabled (that's why I wanted to start the business).

My business is basically over with no trust left and it will never recover, unlike Festingers, as he still has many loyal customers.

I asked for a refund multiple times and told him I would return as soon as he was sorted out but this was met with the following reply:

We are awaiting the court’s verdict. During this period, we are unable to offer any of our services.

My business was also severely impacted and I remember that at the beginning he was refunding or at least responding to requests appropriately. I also requested a refund a while ago and have not received a response.
 
If FV gets shit listed, banned and thread closed, there won't be anymore updates for BHW members that come here seeking updates.

He currently can't sell his service/product (court order) so banning and closing the thread harms BHW members looking for updates more than the BST vendor.

I'm not suggesting refund requests shouldn't be honored. Given the amount of members impacted by this, there is a argument for seeking a 'forum suggestion" for special circumstance consideration, given how many are impacted.

Do you mean updates for the plugins and themes or updates for what is going on?

The answer is no, if I wasn't a member here and only visited his website, I would be in the dark as it mentions the 2nd October hearing, nothing else.

I don't want to shit list him, I just want him to honour his email which said he would give refunds, which he isn't doing.

Opinions may vary on this but, in the case of "lifetime" it's insinuated...

It does NOT mean MY lifetime until I'm dead and buried.
It means the lifetime the product is available from the vendor.

To be fair to the vendor, he didn't pause/terminate his lifetime memberships, another company did through a court action.

He is not providing or arranging refunds, and even worse he knows users are been charged for last 2 months minimum. He is aware of that as I have seen him answering to complaints about that in this same thread. Yet he did not paused the payment processing and he is charging money for service that is not being provided, and ignoring all the refund requests.
I know kw he is dealing with a lot of things but that is just it's unethical and plain ripoff.

I can't see since i don't have an active subscription but I do see the billing tab available.
It wasn't always there, he added it sometime after the 2nd October.

Can't remember the payment options available, but iirc, he uses paypal.. you can cancel the sub from the payment processor side too..

Billing tab is there but no option to cancel anything. Otherwise i would have cancel it 2 months ago, and i wouldn't be complaining here :/ As next month it will charge it also because he doesn't give a f**ck to pause payment processing.
 
i got paid some amount to promote festingervault, now I don't know whether to promote it or not. what should I do guys?
