Not all that long ago I was buying FB likes for pages/URLs mainly for the appearance of having a page with a ton of likes (the appearance of a page with a lot of likes is important for demonstrating social value). Then I discovered how to get these likes for free, and they are at nearly an endless supply. I'm tired of seeing people selling likes for lots of money, or people spreading the disinformation that people/services are using access tokens to generate likes when it's really as simple as exploiting something that facebook has not yet sorted out. This requires zero skill, no traffic, virtually no effort and you can get started immediately...how's that for firing on all cylinders? So, how does it work? Shares count as likes. Did you catch that? That was it...it's really that simple. Let me clarify because this may not have fully sunk in for you given how simple it is. If you, using your facebook account, share a URL on a friends wall, the like count goes up. Share the same URL on another friends wall using the same account...the like count goes up again. If you share that same URL from ONE account to 100 of your friends walls, your like count for that URL is now 100. Facebook has an error somewhere in their code where a share, regardless of how many times one person has shared that same URL, counts as a like. Share a URL to 200 friends from one account and you've now got yourself 200 likes. I know you're thinking to yourself that this can't be possible, so I'm going to prove it in this incredibly short video: What did I tell you? I'll likely share a bot/script that does this for you (shares a URL of your choosing to all the friends within an FB account) in the near future, but given the simplicity of this I'm sure that another BHW member will probably get around to it before I do. So in short, stop buying likes. You don't need to. Stop letting people tell other people that people are using access tokens to like URLs 'en masse (most facebook access tokens don't even have permission to like objects). They are stupidly simple to get virtually instantaneously. Get 'em while you still can!
