If you are making any site related to India then it is more useful to you.
First make a account at orkut ( make gmail account, its free)
Make a female profile and fill all details and use a good picture so it will attract more people.
Now you have 2 choices.
1. Make adult account that you can use for any purpose, remember one thing, its India, No one will pay, everyone wants free.
2. Make a normal profile that you can use to get traffic to your site.
Join some communities ( active communities) and see the forum and add some people. start chatting to them and add more people.
Get 5-6 friends from forums. and after it add friends from their friends. To find active members check scrapbook and you can see who is just online.
As you have female profile you will get lot of friends request. I made 1 profile and got 100 friends in just 1 hour.
you can have maximum of 1000 friends at orkut.
Now time to get mailing list so you can mail them to join whatever you want.
Go to Orkut -> Friends ->
At right downside you can see export contact as CSV.
They are indian so normally they wont join any paid site, but if you invite for free site then they will join and invite their friends too.
At your profile in about me and your status add your site URL. You will also get lot of traffic from there.
If you want people to sign up then you can say them in scrap, they will definitely do it.
