Lets say you have a blog post you want to promote.
1 Make a research before, and find two good searched long keywords appropriate to your blog post story.(if you want your traffic to convert)

2 Go to digg and submit your post and in the title put your first long keyword and in the description your other l. keyword

3.Thats it.No need to share your story with friends (even this is better for long term and to reciev traffic from digg to).

Afther one hour search you keyword and you should see it in the first page of google (if it's a competitiv long keyword probably on second page, or third)

You should see in your g analytics traffic from digg but basicly is from google

Bonus: a good anchor text

nice to give a shot ...... :)
I've made 3 Digg accounts just for getting more traffic to my website

Yes...this works great especially with long-tailed low competition keywords. In addition to Digg, I submit my blog's rss feed to feedage.com for even more traffic.

if there was a wordpress plugin to auto submit to digg it would be perfect! :D

do you guys put backlinks on your diggs? they usually dont last long in there lol

this does work great for long tail terms. and i personally use feedage.com and feedagg.com to submit my RSS feeds.

you can create a bunch of accounts by either using a proxy or outsourcing it to others.

now don't go overboard, but if you create a few accounts, then you can either re-submit your content from a different account( be sure to use a different landing page and space out the time!) or you can digg your own posts. this will cause more people to see it in digg and thus drive even more traffic.

The method described here definitely works but people lets just not forget our submission should not be spammy and our content should be good so that we don't get penalized by Digg.

the site will get good traffic be it from google or Digg the point is you get a fresh loaf of "Bread" on the table. :chef2:

How do you search and find long keywords ?
Do you use google trends ? It only triggers to really high demand keywords, i rarely find multiple word trends.

I'd appreciate a few hints on that topic

You got use any software other than g00gle trends ??

how about keyword elite ??

didn't know about this method.

THANKS! I just tried it.. waiting 1hour...

Question, how long (generally) will your listing hold. days, weeks, months? I've never used this technique before and would appreciate some insight.

not used it very much but i have heard alot of people use Yahoo Buzz for tracking hot topics/keywords etc

last until some jackass sees your stuff and wants to monetize his to outdo yours, or until search engines change algorithms again... or until they just decide to drop it... or... the list goes on and on.
