Site5 is offering 6-months of free hosting if you use the coupon code SIMPLECORPSEPT2012 at checkout.

I usually find these deals only work if you sign-up for a hosting plan that is 1 year or more. However, I noticed the code works even if you select a 6-month hosting period! :)

Here is a price breakdown for the shared hosting plans:

hostBasic (1 site)
6 Months - FREE
1 Year- $35.70
2 Years - $89.10

hostPro (Multiple Sites)
6 Months - FREE
1 Year - $59.70
2 Years - $161.10

hostPro+Turbo (IP Address, MultiAdmin)
6 Months - FREE
1 Year - $77.70
2 Years - $215.10

*The code expires October 15th, 2012

If you are just trying to get a website off the ground and are new to developing and building websites this would be a great place to start.

I forgot to mention that Site5 has good customer support and they answer support tickets fast. One of the reasons I like hosting with them.

Maybe you should have checked BHW before posting this. It's already posted by tahersaid and many of us already signed up there.

I did do a search and didn't see anything on this deal. Care to share where it's posted?

Yes, you need a domain to sign-up and associate with the account. That is what you need to do with any host though.

The thing I hate about them is this stupid waiting time (24 hours +) to get your account approved (?)...which is a total nonsense and I have never experienced anything similar working with 15+ different companies.

My account got activated very quickly when I did the 1-month free trial a few months ago.

No offence, but I too has seen this posted by another member with his ref link. Maybe the reason, his thread was removed.

Anyways, when I searched, I got this thread.

Thanks mate.

I've used Site5 for a couple of years now and although they're not the cheapest I would still recommend them to anyone. I have the biggest of the shared packages and have never had any problems, it's basically like a VPS. Their support are excellent as well.
