    This is a simple script that I had back from my MySpace days... It's nothing major... But I thought it might be handy for some people...

    Basically what it does it mask the URL in the address bar with the URL of the html file... No matter where you go on the destination website... The URL in the address bar will stay as the masked URL.

    Hell... You might find it useful... You might not... If you do find it useful - Enjoy! :D

    Example:
    http://www.ownedmask.com/keepurlinbar.html

    keepurlinbar.html

    Code:
    <html>
    <head>
    <script>window.status = ' ';</script>
    <meta http-equiv="Content-Language" content="en-us">
    <title>Welcome!</title><meta name="keywords" content>
    <meta name="description" content>
    </head>

    <frameset border="0" frameborder="0" marginleft="0" margintop="0" marginright="0" marginbottom="0" rows="100%,*">
    <frame
    src="http://www.destination-url-goes-here.com"
    scrolling="auto" frameborder="no" border="0" noresize>
    <frame topmargin="0" marginwidth="0" scrolling="no" marginheight="0" frameborder="no" border="0" noresize>
    <noframes>
    <body>

    </body>
    </noframes>
    </frameset>

    </html>

    Not sure... The only thing this script does is keep YOUR URL in the browser bar. It's handy for some things... :)

    this is called "cloaking", I think. It's useful for affiliate links and if it doesn't work you can change it right away. Thank you, cypionate for the share

    hello every one I am new to the forum. ill try not to seem to blank here.

    seen the post about the masking. one question where would you put the script? using front page to build site. my wife does a magazine and we have used an outside vendor to do the e-book thing. i want to use the masking to show our url instead of theirs in the addresse bar when some one cliks on the link image. they tried to tell me how it was supposed to be but i just dont ubderstand waht they are saying. thanks for the time.
