Get movies smaller

Hi all.
I have just added my link to a video using video watermark fctory.
The file was initially 160Mb and that was to big itself, and its now become 7Gb.

What can I do to watermark my video and get it smaller in size as well?
It does need to be below 100Mb to be uploaded to youtube.

I'm guessing by the filesize that you're outputting as .AVI?

Try outputting to .MPG or even .WMV for better filesize.

As for shrinking the video, you will have to strip some data out of it and make the quality less, or make the video size smaller (or both). Typical video conversion software should be able to handle that, or look into VirtualDub or TMPGEnc. Naturally, adding a watermark adds data to the video, so it will grow in size slighly after adding watermarks.

You can decompress and compress then continue that process. The smaller the movie the poorer the quality though. You can shake it around different filetypes and keep compressing and decompressing. I had a tool that does this but I forget its name.
