Get high targetted traffic with YouTube Fan Finder

Hi, I have been a member of this forum since January and still haven't posted something useful so I thought let's do it!

I sat down and thought if you could take the new option "Fan Finder" on YouTube to your advantage, and 1 second later this idea popped up which can be used in any niche for any method such as PPI, PPD, CPA, ClickBank, etc.

Fan Finder is a new option on YouTube that allows you to show ads to people who watch videos in the same catagory as your videos are in, if I watch multiple videos about make-up YouTube will show me ads from people doing make-up videos. And the best part is, it is completely free!

Now just click "Select your channel ad" and choose the video you want to promote, your video will be placed in the queue. When it is accepted, your video will be shown for people watching videos in the same catagory as the promotion video is in. Which means, high targetted traffic.

This was just a thought that popped up, don't blame me if it doesn't work.

As someone who runs a couple mid-sized music channels...what is the liability I face if I did this with a song by someone else? I know you can't really be touched if you are part of a network so I think that is the route I am going...

Any thoughts?

I quote YouTube from YouTube Fan Finder Programme Terms and Conditions: "You own all, or have all necessary commercial use rights, consents, permissions and licences in your content, such that it can be displayed in any form as an ad worldwide;"

Also, in case you have missed it. Networks don't handle the copyright strikes if you are a Affiliated Partner, if you are a Managed Partner then they handle all issues with your copyright strike but not as a Affilited Partner. Ask your network what you need to do to get Managed status, usually your channel needs to be get a certain amount of views per day, have a certain amount of subs and don't have any community or copyright strike(s).

The problem is that the line up for the queue system is so far broken that it doesn't work. It'll base you on how popular and active your channel is, and as it currently stands, only those with high activity / popularity will be first and queued. Sometimes it just seems better to be Grey Hat about things like Grey Hat videos makreting your services via Adwords or buying views and risking video deletion after a short time.

Yeah...Fan Finder sucks; I've had a video in the system for a couple of months and it got 30ish views. It gets thousands per day without it.

If you need a targeted audience, just use

Free and got a list of thousands of targeted viewers in like 10 minutes.

Then create a facebook ad targeted at those you find.

I have a gaming channel with more than 10 million views and only 3000 from fan finder.... I used it since day 1

Well you can still use Fan Finder if your channel is getting millions of views each month, has a high subscriber count, and you are already using Adwords to advertise your videos. Maybe even then Fan Finder might still suck, but the small amount of views you get from it are going to add up in the end? Maybe? Google greed FTL.

Not anymore, they have released it to everyone but as people say they trend to only advertise bigger channels, which I didn't have a clue about.

I guess my idea wasn't good, sorry about that.

Follow up. So what does your software do different than Video niche finder sold at warrior forum? That software does the same things but is only $27 bucks.

Did anyone else try the fan finder? I just added a video.

I've been using it with my whitehat channel some time ago. Have been getting about 10 views per month via fan finder...

You should immediately take action.

One is part of the process.
So you should try to succeed and focus on one method to succeed

I never use Fan Finder before. Well, i'm gonna give it a shot now, thanks for sharing.
