For every ai post that starts with “hey guys” I can only imagine Mike Tyson grows stronger.

I agree this fake stuff without anything but claims should be auto ban. There is absolutely NO proof that what is said is true. No human element. No videos, not even fake serp tracking like old school sales threads hahaha!! No experience is shared. Total garbage that will only lead people to waste time.

“I got my traffic from a small forum community.”

SO you got 0 to 1 visitors? Bullshite. They are selling fools gold.

I’ve been seeing these accounts blasting the forum with countless threads over the past few days and most of the posts are completely pointless.

It’s always the same stuff like “making money online” or “skills bla bla”

I read one yesterday about getting clicks or traffic and the entire thread didn’t even explain where the clicks or traffic were supposed to come from. It was so pointless : D

And like you said, these posts aren’t going into the Lounge. They’re being posted in sections where it boosts their post count.

It’s very obvious what’s going on here. I didn’t even bother reporting any of those posts because I’m sure the Mods can see them too, especially since they’re coming from the same group of accounts and showing up so frequently.

Well, we’ll just wait and see what happens now that you’ve brought it up : )

We don't see them all. We're a small team. We need help from the community in identifying these accounts. It's always greatly appreciated it if you and everyone else could be bothered to report it, it always helps us enormously.

Recently, I reported one of those AI posts... and the reply from the mods was.... "no rules violated".

PS: there's nothing wrong with using AI... I use copilot when I need my grammar to be spot on... but I use it for grammar only and ask copilot to keep my wording and only check my grammar.

I think there is a problem when you’re using it be manipulative and using it to generate experiences/that are untrue, or that you know nothing about personally. Not only is that lying but is also likely partly or totally misinformation.

exactly this, several times I've reported and got the same

entire threads are littered with quite obvious ai replies that just gaslight or do nothing more than repeat the topic (or copy another comment) in different wording

not just bot farm accs, but also sellers too who spin up AI/ nonsensical replies just to bump up their post count and keep their profile/ signature visible to keep up traffic to their offer

this used to be a place of actual value and strategies, not excited to see how much worse it'll get in 2026

"no rules violated"
This was honestly how I felt too about not bothering to report any of those posts.

I just assumed someone else must have noticed it and the only reason those accounts kept doing the same thing for days is because they probably were not violating any rule and it was just me overthinking things : D

Normally, I help report inappropriate posts a lot or let the Mods know when someone posts in the wrong section so they can move the thread to the right place.

Sometimes content is obviously ai but actually does provide value to the conversation. Sometimes it’s obviously AI and obviously annoying because we know what they are doing. As in not contributing or having a real discussion just increasing post count. But there’s still no rules broken because it’s still a reasonable comment. So there’s no rules broken because it’s not against the rules to use ai since it does help people translate and get a point across in a coherent way.

It’s when a manipulative account is giving advice about subjects that they and the ai clearly know nothing about. They don’t know if the ai is hallucinating, but we do. Those accounts shouldn’t even get a warning imo.

Post count inflation on sales threads also really annoys me. That always gets removed thankfully. I’ve never been told no rules broken with those types of reports.

To be fair, in my experience BHW mods are doing an amazing job about it

Almost everyday I'm reporting some of those profiles and in most cases, they are banned
Sometimes they don't ban, but they still remove all posts from that spam account

Just a few hours ago, it's marked as rejected, but they indeed banned the spammer.

I guess they've already banned +10 bot members from my recent reports.

A while ago they would just delete that post instead of banning the member, but now they are actually banning those AI spam profiles, they are acting harder recently, which is great

Also, I would suggest you to report the profile, go to their profile and report the profile instead of just reporting the specific post. If it's an AI bot, they are probably spamming and their whole activity is based on spam, ask mod to check his entire activity on this forum. If you just report the post, they will likely delete the post, but the spammer will still be around

Yeah we also need to think about the mods. The ai explosion has likely increased daily reports and investigations 100 fold compared to back before ai. Sucks.

They definitely do get rid of the vast majority of it when I report. I’d say 1 ai post/comment out of 15-20 reports is rejected. Over time you also get a feel for what they will remove and what they won’t. If in doubt still report it!

I've always credited the efforts of the mods. It’s wild west with AI everywhere not just on BHW : D

Thanks V.... I actually learned something new here by reporting the profile itself and not just the posts they make.
Posts can be deleted but the account will just keep doing the same thing

I really don’t get why these guys can’t understand it’s not worth the stress they’re putting themselves through.
Even if they somehow grow the profile with this kind of AI spamming, the account they think they’re building still ends up banned :/

All that effort wasted in the end. It’s a no brainer : )

Oh dear, I think that was me. I hit the wrong button, it should have been marked as 'Resolved'. In fairness to me though, I am quite ill at the moment and also a huge idiot.

dont use copilot for grammar lol
you can even use something like libreoffice for that. secure, private and offline

No you're not okay? And don't let anyone tell you otherwise, okay?

You're a BIG STRONG SMART BOY (OR GIRL OR NB).

Hope you feel better.

//

In all fairness though, the "No rules violated" thing bothered me too. I used to report a lot of these AI drivel and always got that response. Ultimately, I made my piece with it and just began ignoring/overlooking them.

And as chat models become better with every version, it's only gotten worse.

I can understand someone using AI to frame their sentences better or check on their language, if they're not too comfortable with English.

But now you have people either trying to pad their post count, or show their signature.

One query, 10 replies who rehash the same thing. And it's very obviously AI.

Beyond a point, it's a bit bothersome.

//

This next part is where I speak just from my prerogative and I can't speak for other users.

But I've had a tendency to participate in discussions and provide detailed answers to queries (specifically code, AI, marketing, operations process related).

I used to REALLY enjoy doing that. Notice the "used to".

Now I find myself less and less interested in opening threads. And even if I do, I really don't want to participate.

Why? Because there are 15 comments already - that are VERY clearly AI slop. Generic, zero effort content, many a times not even related to what OP is asking. Even the OP has checked out (in most cases a newbie with a genuine concern) after getting 10 ChatGPT responses, that make no sense.

If I click on a journey or a MM thread, it's more of that exact same stuff. Journeys used to be fricking fantastic man. People wrote them in great detail. Talked about their mistakes. Talked about what they were changing. Talked about technologies they were incorporating. Talked about their successes and failures.

MM threads used to be literal gold.

There still are legit journeys and MM threads. But you gradually see them being overtaken by opportunistic idiots who managed to gain a free ChatGPT subscription.

/rant.

Sorry.

I totally agree here... we used to have some fantastic journey and MM threads but nowadays, it's mainly nonsense or they get abandoned quickly.

People get tired of reading replies like "I read somewhere... so I'm a pro now" or AI drivel. So sometimes, people don't bother to ask or share.

Same with me. Even if I genuinely want to participate in a discussion, but see it filled with all those AI replies, I'll lose interest and just move away.

We'll close this one now, as there has been no more discussion for a few days. What has been shared is appreciated.
@praetserge - the users linked in your opening post are now banned.
