I had made a review in another thread about a recent XRumer profile link blast I purchased and mentioned how I check my backlinks.
First off, let me say that when I first started creating thousands of backlinks on a daily basis, I tried pinging them and it just didn't have the results I was looking for.
Additionally, I am of the opinion that it's better to let Big Brother (Google) find the backlinks naturally and then get credit for them eventually.
I use this method for XRumer success lists, profile links, and ScrapeBox posted lists -- whatever. All you need is a list of URLS and preferably a separate computer from the one you're using for work.
I use Firefox for this method... Read it and weep:
1) Make sure you have installed the Google toolbar for Firefox.
2) Head on over to this Firefox Add-on (Flem):
3) Install Flem to your Firefox browser.
4) Restart Firefox.
5) The Flem toolbar should now be displayed on Firefox.
6) Click on "Slideshow" from the pull down menu and then click on "Configure slideshow."
7) I like to use the Timer and I set mine to 10 seconds. Your mileage may vary.
8) At this point, you have two choices... You can either have Flem open the file containing your list of backlink urls OR you can open the file containing the list of backlink urls YOURSELF and then copy and paste as many of those urls into Flem to check.
9) Once you've decided which method you'd like to use to check your backlinks -- from the toolbar once again, click on "Slideshow" and then click on "Start slideshow."
10) Now just let Firefox do its thing and check all your backlinks...
Why use this method? Well with the Google toolbar installed, you're helping Google FIND the web page containing your backlink... It is then added to Google's database of web pages to spider. Once it does, you'll start seeing your backlinks actually HELP move you toward the top of Google's SERPs for your keyword/keyword phrase.
I've been using this method for over a year and it works very well...
Good luck!
