[GET] Facebookdudes New Facebook App Method Update

I'm not sure if you guys would have seen this but Facebook has introduced a new type of Facebook App. Usually when you go to an Application Profile page it will have a button saying 'Go to Application'.

Now they have introduced the 'Download Application' button. This links to the Apple iTunes App store, where the user downloads the app for a set price. The app works like a normal Facebook app but does so via the iPhone and other Apple products.

A GREAT example of this is the newly viral 'Fatbooth' which is a play on the Mac program 'Macbooth'. If you go to the link below you will see the app has over 80,000 active monthly users. The App costs $0.99 to download so it's obviously a GREAT money maker.

Fat booth is an iphone app though, not facebook. I dont get how this would make money unless you have an iPhone app, or am i missing something?

It is a iPhone app but it uses Facebook connect as it makes a new album on your profile and publishes your picture there. Thus going viral as the picture shows up in the news feed. It's more than just an iPhone app. It uses Facebook to gain a large amount of users.
