hehehe....i didn't wanted to register with them either, but the promotion at namecheap ended.So I registered at 1and1 for JUST ONE YEAR! :D
 
Why do folk continue to shill 1and1 coupons here?

Everyone here knows just how horrible a company they are, how they have the most ridiculous renewal charges, and how they can be such a bother when you want to transfer the domain name.

The pattern is the same.
a. Someone posts a 1and1 coupon
b. First poster points out how rubbish they are
c. Nobody bothers signing up, and continues to sully their name

I suppose (c) is a good thing though. Spreading the word about a company worse than GoDaddy. And *that's* saying something.

sorry mates, but i didn't knew that this is the worst company until i saw your comments. but i already registered a domain with them :( :sorry:
 
Good luck transferring your domains out of there after the 3 month lock period, they are a nightmare to deal with.
