    I got this out of traffic ebook, so please don't flame me if you think it's crap.

    "If you are just too lazy and can't be bothered to think about smart things to say on
    forums, there is a black hat alternative you can use. This is basically cookie
    stuffing, but your site is the target so you won't mind. Basically what you do is
    you put this in your signature:
    [imx]http://mysite.com/[/imx] (replace the x with a g)
    And now every time someone opens up a thread where you posted, your site will
    load in the background. So all you have to do is go to the hottest threads and say things like "thanks for the info" and other junk posts. This is not guaranteed to
    work on all forums though as it is considered a security threat and webmasters
    found ways around it. But it's worth a try. It takes 30 seconds to setup."

    So you put your URL in an image tag or what?
    It might count as hits for your website, but it is the most useless traffic you can imagine at all. Might be useful for flipping or something like that though :)

    Code:
    <imx src="http://yourwp.com">
    In a post if you put just this text the post looks like blank. But if you check the page resource ... the link is there !

    Oh almost forgot replace "x" with "g"

    black hat does not find the bb code.

    Here is how you can check. right click view page source. click crtl f. Then type in your url and search. If it finds it then the fourm accepts it.
