Get 150+ UV per day since 3 months but not even a single sale

    Hey, I am getting at least 150 UV on my blog. I have placed amazon product widgets and text links on the posts. I get a few clicks but never made a sale since i started the blog.

    If there's traffic, there will be sales eventually, just keep doing what you have and you should see the money rolling in.

    Increase traffic more. Surely, there would be sales

    If visitors are on daily basis then you definitely get some sales but if they are monthly then you need to work more on your blog drive some extra traffic.

    150 a day , someone just reviewed my blog and I totally agree with what he says.
    Its a very general blog where I am talking about everything :D seo, fashion, health etc etc . :(
    Since this is my very 1st blog I didn't know much about focusing on any specific niche. :(
    Will start a new blog next month

    Wrong, wrong, wrong.

    Sales has very little to do with traffic. You can have all the traffic in the world but if you have a 0% conversion rate then your sales will still be nothing.

    Before you work on increasing traffic you test and track and work on increasing your conversion rate. Once you've got that locked down you work on building up that traffic so that your sales sky rocket.

    Increasing traffic is not the solution if your traffic does not convert.

    Work out WHY your clicks are not converting into sales (badly matched products, not relevant, people don't want what you are selling, misleading people to click) and address that first.


    Ok this is likely the problem. Blogs need focus.

    If you talk about anything and everything you end up pleasing no one. People read maybe one article then see that the others aren't related at all to what they just read and then leave.

    General blogs like this are hard to convert as everyone on the site is there for different reasons and has different interests.

    Niche down and focus on one VERY specific topic or focus on a very specific demographic and nothing else.

    Market products which are SUPER relevant to your target audience and you will see sales. Remember you have to continually track and test and work on your conversions.

    Try to use facebook and twitter and pinterest, find big pages and advertise there. You will have more visitors and I will get sales quickly. 50 $ are Ok for three good posts and you should expect 1000-1500 visitors and at last 3-4 sales!

    General blogs = You need lot of traffic to get some sales.

    Niche Targeted blog = less but quality traffic will lead to sales.
