Sad. Makes the lack of snow look pretty minimal as far as horrible things go.

i wouldn't be surprised if a wrongful death lawsuit isn't filed. the athletes have been complaining about the track to deaf ears.

Awful. How disturbing for the family to have to witness it all unfold in front of the eyes of the world.

Watch the clip, it wasn't like it was in a bad spot. You can't have structures made of sponge around it.

I think you are a little off there. We stand to lose around $5 billion for hosting the games and the last I checked, the US and other countries weren't going to offer us any financial backing lol.

But back to the point, safety first but true common sense is what is needed. They are elite athletes and know the risks. They can back out any time they feel like they are in danger.

Let me know when one of your family members or close friends pass away and I will be there selling popcorn and ice cream at the funeral to make a few lousy dollars.

    Have some fuckin' respect man.
