The past years we have been in the automated content generation business. To keep a really long story short : we buy expired domains in huge amounts, generate millions of pages of nonsens on them that ranks for longtails and then we cloak that traffic directly to an offer from the search results.

In recent months/years the brute force power of markov generation techniques is slowly losing ground sadly. That's why recently we have been experimenting with AI, spintax and other forms of automated content.

My business partner has a journey about another project of ours : https://www.blackhatworld.com/seo/m...on-with-my-private-content-generator.1348522/

For this journey/experiment I want to try and launch over half a million generated spintax pages in one go and try and rank/make money from it.

I won't disclose our niche but I will use landscaping/gardening as an example. We will target multiple english speaking countries at once. There's quite a few sites already doing similar things, but not at the scale which we intend to. Many of the current competitors are using identical pieces of content on thousands of pages, badly spun stuff, extremely old themes and designs (in some cases not mobile friendly) and always focus on just 1 sub-niche of either gardening or landscaping.

A lot of the automated sites currently ranking are for instance only focusing on "landscape architect new york" I plan to have multiple sub-pages to target every single niche within gardening/landscaping. The structure of the website will be :

domain.com/gardening-services/us/alabama/montgomery/weed-removal
this page will interlink with about 15 other pages like :
domain.com/gardening-services/us/alabama/montgomery/hedge-cutting
domain.com/gardening-services/us/alabama/montgomery/tree-surgery

this page will also link to silo's with other related subniches :
domain.com/landscape-architect/us/alabama/montgomery/
which in turn interlinks with :
domain.com/landscape-architect/us/alabama/montgomery/

I'm still a bit torn if I should create this many subpages or have longer articles per city where I try to rank for multiple keywords on one page. My gut instinct from looking at the serps is that the results are different enough to warrant have seperate pages for the keywords. I'm also hoping that the silo's and pages like this will boost eachother.

When i multiply the amount of cities I have in total with the amount of services I plan to include the site will have in excess of half a million pages.

The content
I plan to get multiple articles written, high grade stuff. Then we will spintax the hell out of it. Different structures/bullet points/order of paragraphs. This is the part of the journey that will pose the biggest challenge I presume as we will need to somehow naturally include keywords and have the text pass as natural, while being spintaxed.

We will also get some unique articles written for at the top of each silo, these won't target local keywords but instead will try and get some traffic on medium comp things like "how do i mow my lawn" and stuff like that

The website/hosting
Fast VPS from transip.eu
Premium WP theme as lightweight as possible.

The site will be designed to look sleek and professional. We will design certain content templates for the different kinds of pages that we can plug the spintax into.

Import and page generation will be handled by the plugin WP all import

monetisation :
There are plug&play affiliate quote forms that we can use. We will integrate these into the wordpress design.
Maybe eventually sell the website since this niche is very "hot"

Backlinks : I won't even think about this until I launch the site in one go and its been indexed. We have the means to create a our own pbn or we can buy links for it.

In the coming days I will mostly be focusing on the technical aspects of the website like hosting, generating the site structure as an empty shell and formulating the design.

Sounds like a very good plan, best of luck.

Will you then contact business' within a certain location and get them to pay for ad space on that page e.g. $1000 per month, or pay per lead kind of thing?

This is a super cool concept, looking forward to seeing how it pans out for you, following.

No there are many existing affiliate programs for this niche. Many even include ready-made (css customizable of course) iframe that you can just use on your website. Lead payout is between 4-30$

I've been spending the day with WP all import.

We already had files with complete city/state/province lists per country but they weren't all accurate and contained some inconsistencies. Yesterday I purchased (for 50$) a postcode/zipcode database that contains zipcode, geolocation, long/lat and other information. All countries combined it's about 190k rows so It's been taking a while getting everything formatted correctly into wordpress.

Generatepress pro for wordpress (theme)
Excel
WPallimport for wordpress (plugin)

For spintax I still need to find a solution but I will probably go with wordAI

How do you getting GMB for your local lead gen sites? Congrats on your journey! :)
I'm not - unless I had someone living in each city or something. Would have no idea how to scale this.

A lot of the keywords are so longtail and local that they have search volumes of 10-20 per month without google-maps listings. In the cases where there are maps listings in the serps I hope that the fact i have half a million pages makes up for always being slightly below the fold haha :D

I wonder how many people check their local rankings and would try to get listed on directories ranking for their desired keywords?
For them it could still be cheaper than paying per lead...

You can do all this and spin your content, add kw tags in which insert them from your lists and more with serp shaker. It's an old plugin and not sure if it's still for sale anymore, but used to work a charm back in the day. Try searching it on youtube. There used to be tutorial vids. good luck.

Serp shaker was a good WP plugin back in the day. This site requires a little bit more structure and cleanliness than serp shaker can provide sadly, so I'll be generating the content myself and then importing it with wp-allimport.

Page Generator Pro is really advanced and updated all the time, check it out, great plugin.

Thank you so much for this recommendation. I've been around the block a bit and seen quite a few WP plugins but had never come across this one. Seems from the sales page it does literally exactly what WPallimport can do except much more.

I will purchase this and experiment with it the coming day to see if it possibly offers more flexibility

Hi,

I'm doing pretty much what you are doing.

I have three sites targeting local business lead gen in the UK.

One site is doing much better than the other two.

I'm making around £500 per month now and it's rising. (Very low commissions through an affiliate network)

Each site has around 2000 pages and I'm using that wp zinc plugin.

I'm using spintax as well and my URL structure is pretty much like yours.

My advice after doing this for a year and leaving all three to just sit is:

1. Look for a keyword phrase that very little competitors are using.
2. Use an expired domain with some links or link build a little bit.

Good luck!

I bet this helps a hundred people.
