Generating Fake Hits

Hi,
I have one of my blogs in a blog directory. At the top of the page, it has a list of the most read blogs (I assume it is most read from inside their directory). Therefore I was wondering if there was some program to keep hitting my blog from within the directory to push up its rankings? Something like magic traffic bot, but problem is it only recognizes unique views. So wondering if anyone could help?

Thanks for the prompt reply though that was what I tot as well, but to make sure that such hits work i tested it by using the alexa rank enhancer. Problem is the hits didn't show. Its either 1) the stats are not real-time or 2) it must be hits from members in the directories. If it is the latter, then i guess there is no hope for me?

get a few proxies and just connect through them manually and see if the count goes up? if it doesn't, create a new account, view and see if it goes up.

If its the latter you're probz screwed! might be a bot around with a fake account generator? never know!

Here is something that I am playing with at the moment.
Go to some real busy forums and put a link to your blog inside tags - if the forums doesn't have [IMG] tags enabled in the sig block, try posting something to see if the [IMG] tag is available then.

Anyway, crux of the matter is if you put the link to your site in [IMG] tags everytime someone views the thread in a forum it simulates that user going to your site using their IP address, so that may give you fake hits :)

All you have to do is post (try to get on the first page of a thread as everyone reads the first page) or create a few threads of your own and away you go :)

I played with this on a forum and got up to 13 hits a minute without trying - now how to make money out of that I dont know :(
