It was hilarious! I was expecting storm troopers to bust down the door. I have been running General Lee's Intelligent Traffic bot off and on for several months. I run it at night. No problem. I love it. The phone rang at 4 AM. HostGator called to say they were shutting down my site. I had broken their TOS by tying up too many resources. HostGator is always pissy about something so I figured I would deal with them when I got up and went back to sleep. Around 5:30 AM the phone rang again. My internet provider, AT&T, called and said they were shutting down our service. Something I was running was bogging down the system. I figured whatever it was could wait and I went back to sleep. When I got up my computer had locked and their must have been a thousand browser 32s running. I have no idea what happened. It usually behaves very nicely. My husband cracked me up. He said he was glad I didn't have Scrapebox running at the same time, men in black would have crashed in and made us disappear. AT&T had the service back on by the time we got up. HostGator took a full day of emails and they would release my account to I deactivated just about every plugin I had. It was stupid how many hoops they made me jump through. I even had to deactivate "All In One Seo". It is the most exciting thing we have had happen around here in years. That is ends this episode of "When Good Bots Go Bad".
