Yesterday, I made a request of withdrawal of $4,982.90 from Indian PayPal account to Indian Bank account.

So my withdrawal request is in pending status. It already converted to Indian Rupees automatically.

Now after some times paypal automatically reversed the money because of their so called security issue. And after reversing, the total balance lost about $316 because of double time conversion. Balance is $4,666. Here their system did everything automatically. And I am not liable for their system.

So there is a $316 lose. I called PayPal yesterday about this. And their customer support agent put a request. Now today I got $155 back which is the reverse time conversion fees. But they didn't give me the rest $316 - $155 = $161 which is the first conversion fees when I made withdrawal request.

It is their system's fault. If that automatically reverse so what is my fault here? And that way they are taking $161 from me illegally.

I have contacted with their customer service several times over phone. Those customer service agents put a request for approval of refund the money. But still this gaypal is not giving back my $161. Guys any idea how can I get back the money?

Sorry to hear your troubles, in honesty it really doesn't surprise me, I have had so much trouble with them over the years for all sorts of different reasons and the annoying part I have never behaved badly with them, anything in a grey area I have not used paypal which is the ironic part i suppose, have you tried speaking to them via e-mail? I would also try and mention that you have the financial ombudsmen looking into the matter, it may hasten the'r approach to your unfortunate situation.
