    Hey guys!

I would like to ask, how many of us BlackHatters are in the World of Warcraft Niche?

I've seen a lot of people promoting it and I am curious to know how many of us are actually Promoting them solely as their main Income? Thank you for taking the time to answer this question :)

I tried some gaming products out, one did quite well, but my WoW venture failed epically. I was showing up on google search only, yet my CTR was terrible, which ended up giving me a low QS. I spent time making a lander and everything, then in like 2 hours my campaign died with barely any clicks lol.
Maybe article marketing could work better though...

Try selling these people Wolfshirts and cheetos, I know amazon has a few wolfshirts available through their website, so you can try the amazon aff. program. As for cheetos you might be out of luck there. But of course, the best thing to sell people on who play WoW all the time is ewhoring, if you put a nice breasted girl out there and tell them you're a level 70, you should be pulling in high $XXX

I'm a WoW player and if I were to focus on the WoW niche I would focus on promoting things like good gaming mice. Leveling guides are of no use anymore because they've made it so ridiculously easy to level now. Gold guides are the only thing that I think have a chance at making full time income (as far as guides go), but again with it being so easy to level it doesn't take long to get to where simply doing the daily quests gives you an easy and steady stream of gold.

I guess I'm saying I just don't see much need in the WoW marketplace that can be filled by a product. Maybe a 12 step program to stop WoW addiction?

So there's my first post on this forum..and it reveals all my glorious WoW dorkiness :)

You can try selling gold. There are lots of people who will buy gold. I personally know 3 who buy gold very often. Blizzard bans it and serious players hate it but it still can make you money :) . If you wonder what can you use this gold for well there are new items which cost 10k+ gold also some guilds offer boosts in raids for 20k+ so you pretty much can gear yourself with gold only. The sites which sell gold also offer items for sale. I think there is big money in it because there are bots all day in game shouting for selling gold and they get banned. I don't think someone will pay constantly for new accounts if he is not making money.

The people who spam and get banned aren't paying for a new account, they're using a free trial. People do sell gold in game, but if that's the route you're going to take there are a lot of other games where it's easier to sell gold.

One thing that does sell well are vanity pets and collector's editions (mainly because of the vanity pet in the collector's edition). I've seen vanity pets go for outrageous amounts on ebay.

But they can all die in the middle of a capital city spelling out the name of their website :) and they can still spam, just not in a channel or through whisper, just through the general /say.

It is also absurdly easy to hack WoW for free game time or even hack other accounts to spam for you. This is a black hat forum, surely you're aware there's more than just SEO black hat. There's a black hat way to do anything, including spam WoW for free.

Tried WOW, had the great website setup, Google banned my account for using the word "WOW" in my adwords campaign. No reason why, they just banned it stating it was a copyright word that i was not allowed to use. Can you believe this? That was a year ago, since then i never tried marketing WOW again on adwords. Also, my conversions were so hopeless naturally that i was sorry i spent the 9 bucks on the domain name.

I have a friend who has done very well by running a WoW subscription site. People love to get tips and such on leveling up or completing quests. He hires poeple to play WoW and advertise for his site. Each subscription brings him in like $2 a month, but he gets tons of signups!

Could you elaborate on that for me please Dukeofism? Also, would it be too much if I could ask you to PM me with your Skype or MSN details? I would like to understand further too :)

How can I sell gold when I do not have any?

You mean buy them and resell them again?

I know that there are a lot of Gold Selling Companies out there but I would like to find out, are they really legitimate? Or do they just take your money and run away with it? I have tried before back in the day but I got scammed.. I am wondering if it's still the same?

I figured that right now, it's tough to Market leveling guide because what you said is true.. Having a Mount at level 20 is just insane!

I don't think I would wanna stop people from playing WoW.. lol

Are you certain about the free Game Trial Account being able to /say in places like Stormwind City, Iron Forge etc?

You become affiliate of a website which sell gold :) . And yes there are legit website which will not scam you. Do your own research to find them.

    @tem22

As already mentioned trial accounts can spam in trade channel, send pms or mails and in most servers there are bots who do this constantly.

I checked on the WoW site just to be sure.

I know of people who make money using exploits in games, especially after new patches go on before all the bugs are worked out.

My husband is thinking of going into the gaming niche, but we've both agreed to not do anything with WoW, it would really suck if we somehow got our main accounts banned and it's just not worth the risk. He might try making money with a game he doesn't care about as much.

I would focus on a game other than WoW simply because it's so big and so many people focus on it. There are tons of online games, just go to mmorpg.com and you can read up about them. I think if you're smart you can probably figure out how to make good money with any of them.

I've been in this niche for 4 months now. My website ranks on the first page for a very famous keyword. It was tough to get there though. Saleswise I'm doing pretty ok I think, although it could always be better.

Would you please be able to share with me some Guildlines? Would Sponsored Links be Legit?
