Hello Guys,

So, in the last bull run I was a member of a very small crypto telegram group around 70 members.

We as a group got really early into the meme / shit coin boom. FEG, PIG, TRDG, CHZ006, Safermoon, Teslasafe etc.

I literally seen people making 200x - 500x during this time, Me and few others took the profits on the way up and got out well before the peak.

But, majority of the people didn't took any significant profits out and pretty much rode back to the absolute bottom. A guy who became a good friend went from $3k to $1.8 Million and rode it back all down, just didn't sell.

I still to this day just can't believe it, you literally made a life changing amount and just didn't pressed that sell button. Like, what else you wanted to achieve with a $3k investment.

Guys, always take profits when you're in a position like this. Don't be fucking GREEDY.

Have you been in a position like this? You didn't pressed that sell button, didn't took profits? If yes, what you've learnt from it and how will you do things differently next time?

When I was earning off kids' game there was a 14-year-old member in the community, a lot of us can recollect the days when cash didn't mean too much to us because we simply didn't have things to worry about.

This kid went on a gambling spree, with what I seen starting at $100. Using sites like Bustabit and that he managed to turn it into 110k when Bitcoin was ~$20k...

I could never understand why gamblers believed gambling was always the way... He turned it into 110k, then into 70k and we told him it wasn't worth going at it again - after 3 hours he was asking for loans of $100 because he believed full on that he could do it again...

He's still gambling, he's probably 19 now. :(

Happen to me invested $800 then coin goes up $12000 profit, I should've sell early until coin goes down and I only sold it for $1000. Not much like your friend but still I regret it.

It was stupid of him, should have bagged atleast half of his profits

Yes, unfortunately I have seen many people who just don't make that decision of pressing that sell button at the right time.

That's sad, I have never gambled in my life so not sure but I think for gamblers its more like a thrill or that adrenaline rush than money. Unfortunately a very destructive behaviour.

Hopefully you have learnt the lesson and will do better next time:)

Who holds 3k till it reaches 30k then 300K without cashing anything, would have never cashed anyway.

Do you not agree that investing in coins suggested by communities is gambling? :)

Breaks my heart all-round... Like with my experience in "investing" in crypto (gambling with crypto), I've only been successful when trying out coins and tokens with actual use-cases.

People give NFTs shit, rightfully. Then there's games like Splinterlands that basically brought Yu Gi Oh and Pokemon online. That's one example.

You're still 100% right though.

But that's what I am trying to understand, Why?

Why not take profits, whats the psychology behind it.

Yes, obviously investing in Meme / Shit Coins is gambling. I was referring to traditional gambling like roulette, black jack etc which I never tried.

I put some money into BabyMoonFloki and it did a x70 in less than 72 hours. I was able to make a big profit at that time but my greed believed that it was not going to stop going up. Finally it stayed at a x20 I think I remember. I stopped earning a good amount of money but I deserve it and I learned from it.

@ADA Lovelace try to withdraw :) works?
I did a swap to BNB without any problems, beyond the high selling fees. It was fun not to stop watching upload in a matter of hours, it gave me experience on what I should and shouldn't do in other aspects as well :)

I have a feeling that the lesson was not necessarily learned once on the off chance that should ever happen again
