This kid went on a gambling spree, with what I seen starting at $100. Using sites like Bustabit and that he managed to turn it into 110k when Bitcoin was ~$20k...

I could never understand why gamblers believed gambling was always the way... He turned it into 110k, then into 70k and we told him it wasn't worth going at it again - after 3 hours he was asking for loans of $100 because he believed full on that he could do it again...

He's still gambling, he's probably 19 now.

We as a group got really early into the meme / shit coin boom. FEG, PIG, TRDG, CHZ006, Safermoon, Teslasafe etc.

I literally seen people making 200x - 500x during this time, Me and few others took the profits on the way up and got out well before the peak.

But, majority of the people didn't took any significant profits out and pretty much rode back to the absolute bottom. A guy who became a good friend went from $3k to $1.8 Million and rode it back all down, just didn't sell.

I still to this day just can't believe it, you literally made a life changing amount and just didn't pressed that sell button. Like, what else you wanted to achieve with a $3k investment.

Guys, always take profits when you're in a position like this. Don't be fucking GREEDY.

Have you been in a position like this? You didn't pressed that sell button, didn't took profits? If yes, what you've learnt from it and how will you do things differently next time?

Breaks my heart all-round... Like with my experience in "investing" in crypto (gambling with crypto), I've only been successful when trying out coins and tokens with actual use-cases.

People give NFTs shit, rightfully. Then there's games like Splinterlands that basically brought Yu Gi Oh and Pokemon online. That's one example.
