I am looking for leads that are interested in web design. I tried posting in CL, I did it 3 times in all different cities. After 2 days, no replies from any of them. What am I doing wrong? Where else can I get leads besides saturated classified ads?

Well you could try locally. I was thinking of doing that, going into stores asking if they'd like to hire a web designer to get some online presence for themselves and maybe more popularity to their store. You could try posting on any web design forums with a link to your services in your signature.

Just help people out with their coding problems and if you have something in your sig like "I am a web designer, click here to see my work and order from me" people may look to hire you. That could be very saturated on web design forums but if you look in the right places you will get some business.

Web design in general is a very saturated business so your best bet I think would be to think outside the box, look at what the successful people are doing, sure, but don't mimic them, see what works and think of your own ideas with them as a base.

A lesson I was taught long ago was.
If you were to open a shoe shop, would you open it in,
A street full with shoe shops?
Or one full of jewelers?
If you answered "the street full with jewelers because there would be less
competition", you would be wrong.
The correct answer is "the street full with shoe shops because that's where
people go to buy shoes".
Be unique, stand out amongst the crowd and take your share.
