G is indexing my site ("noindex" is not working)

Hi mates,

I'm making a case study, so I need a domain which is not in G-Index.

I used the noindex meta title and the correct robot.txt. As I start the experiment the domain was NOT in the G-Index but now its indexed despite the meta no index and robots.txt.

What can I do to kick the domain out of the index?? And why is google indexing the domain?

Submit your URLS to GWT for deindexation. I've had websites from expired domains I want idexed, that appear to be penalised for some reason, that don't get indexed, yet I don't want to submit them to gwt for my own reasons. I've pinged these websites and submitted them to rss feeds, yet nothing. Some other websites have pages that get indexed regardless of yoast wp noindex tag on them. Strange. GBot loves you, but it needs more money, so it doesn't give a dirt about your wishes.

It'l take around 3 weeks for G to deindex a site.What about that in your site's case ?

So G index my site first to deindex it again in 3 weeks? Thats crazy..

Go to your WP reading options and tick "discourage search engines from indexing this site". Then, add your site to GWT and remove it from the index using the URL removal tool.
