Great to see that the job boards are still running after such a long time. It would be great though if the network.json would be cleaned and all the inactive domains would be removed. Right now I have two links on my site that are not working anymore and no working site is linking to my site.

you just read my mind, also if those domains were dynamically updated that way my domain will end on another site and your domain will end on my site, just an idea

Yes, I think that is how it was supposed to work in the beginning. The active sites link to each other without directly exchanging links. But it seems there is no automatic system in place to remove the inactive domains from time to time. I wanted to update the links myself but then I saw that there is the network.json implemented in inc\structure\structure.php so I decided not to touch it and wait for an update.

This is a harder task than it seems, why? because many people are just "temporarily offline" (they have not paid their hosting yet, they are migrating, etc...) so we try to keep it as update as possible, as often as possible.

hi, at the very beginning yes but now I use a plugin that handles that for me

at this moment I am getting traffic by following @patadeperro suggestions (sharing on social media, groups related to jobs, and things to do in the location that my sites serve) also I do email campaigns targeting small business that's where the money is, just get a B2B email list, cleaned and send at least one email a week informing about your site and give them a promo code
I agree, let's wait if @patadeperro comments something about it or provides a way to fix it from our side, also have you been able to maximize the use of the widget areas?

What do you mean by maximize the use of the widget areas?

@German Rodriguez is heavily promoting the sites, adding features, blogs, e-commerce so he asked me for some suggestions which I happily did.

Sent you PM with instructions already, happy to have you as a client.

for those who own any of these sites, a friendly suggestion, always manage your database, most of the hosting providers limits the size of the database up to 1G, in a couple of my site the database files were over 1 G and that was generating issues, I did not know about it and cost me several days "fixing" and deleting plugins that were not related to the main issue, now that I delete all the post from the very beginning until the beginning of this year the site is running normal, another suggestion deletes the old post and set up a 301 plugin to help you with the redirection. just a friendly suggestion.

thanks to @patadeperro suggestions I have been able to set up several automatizations features on my sites that allow me to improve the services and the feeling of "enterprise" for my visitors, also sharing the post on social media is key to getting visitors and promoting my sites and features on small business via old fashion email is a key for my revenue.

always use the widget feature there are some spaces where you can promote extra space to sell also inform mere details, is all about what other thing about the site, if they feel that the cost of the service is low is easier to get their jobs on your site

For the job board website, do I need to use your theme or can we choose other when you setup the website (I pay for the theme)?

Also, are jobs being submited automaticaly on the website forever or how does it work?
Like how many a day, from what countries etc

Regards

@patadeperro Expecting a response on my dead website since more than a month now!

Are you planning to fix the issue or shall I proceed with a complaint?

No, you can not use another wordpress theme.

Yes, the jobs are being submitted DAILY up to 200 on an automatic way, for as long as your jobs keep getting at least one visitor per month, otherwise, we identify the website as being abandoned (that is what happened to @xfiles999 ) and the jobs are not sent anymore, to reactivate the job process just contact me.

The countries are only USA and Canada.

The issue has been solved, the thing is that it has been so long that the url where the file was hosted changed, I am PM you the new location so you can change it.

The issue is resolved.

But there is no where mentioned in any of the TOS that if there is no traffic it will be treated as abandoned.

If that's the case you can refund me for that anonymous reason you just recently introduced.

The site made is way out dated and won't recieve traffic as expected. I am just running it for some other reasons and traffic is their so you need to be worried in my case.

The thing is that now we have so many sites/clients that we automate the process to identify when the websites are offline, the website activation is solved by contacting us (as you did) , but we can't refund you because the site was delivered already on time, the key issue to have traffic is to promote it, the site is optimized and it gets traffic via google jobs BUT as you can see with so many independent testimonials the people making money are making it because they are promoting their website as they were instructed.

You need to check sites if they are alive or not. You can't say they have traffic or not because you don't have GSC or GA access.

Hope that helps.

Good day!

He doesn't need GSC or GA access because he can see if your site drives any traffic to the job listings. You can see every link in all job listings has your site URL appended like this: redejobs.com/job.php?j=123456&p=1&s1=YOURSITEURL.com

That being said I find it funny that "inactive" sites get deactivated but on the other hand the network.json still contains hundreds of inactive sites. Where is the logic here?

For obvious reasons (Google) I don't like that my site links to non-existent sites and also I don't get any links from other sites anymore because they are dead.

It's not the case. I rely on his generated pages for page volume in SERPs. The way they are imported is not good that's why no traffic on them. And for me that's not a concern as I get traffic other ways. Jobs are front wall of my website. ;)

Yes, you are right, the initial idea was to redirect the visitors that were looking for a specific job to a similar one in their area, which allows us as well to count the clicks, because we have been working to help people monetize their sites better, but most of the clients do not promote their sites at all.

Now regarding the inactive sites, this is a more complex issue than it seems... why? because we tried to create a natural network of sites that helped each other, but what happened, exactly what you are showing, it became to be a nice extra to help you to get traffic (a GREAT deal for the price you are paying) to a constant headache because then people would constantly request to get their links changed, they would say the backlinks they were getting were not as valuable as the ones they were sending, we would remove certain sites and then be contacted by the owner because we removed them and it was just that he was changing hosting/renewing the domain/whatever..... so just like the unlimited support, this is something that will change this is NONE of our client's faults we simply thought it would be a nice add on to the service and that people will see the value... no, big mistake!!! you need to increase the price for people to perceive the value.... pricing will be changing soon.

Now regarding what you are saying about Google don't like links to non-existent sites.... this is extremely common on the web, and sites/pages still rank, wanna see it? look for the Wikipedia pages on many subjects that have links to non-existan sites/pages, we are trying our best to keep the file up to date, but is becoming very labour intensive.

All of you have received training about how to build your own PBN and to promote your job boards, which should help you to get backlinks... problem is.... most of you DO NOT do it.

Yes, this may be a good strategy, the issue (in your case) is NOT the way the jobs are imported, is the small number of jobs you receive (we talked about it when you were choosing your theme, but you still wanted to proceed), but is a nice way to give more presence to your website.

This is EXACTLY why I encourage people and clients alike to post their concerns/questions in the open so people can read them and decide for themselves if this is something they want to buy or not, see the benefits, the problems, the challenge, the results of people following the advice and proceed to buy it.

Yes, you are right, as with every product/course/etc. a large number of buyers will not take any action which is sad but not really avoidable even with the best of instructions and support.

In my case I tweaked the theme a little bit, optimized the page titles, added a blog, created some marketing videos, etc. so it just annoys me that I have two links to inactive sites on every page of my website. I already took a look at the network.json and checked the HTTP response status codes of all the sites in there to assist with my request for an update.

I understand that it is very annoying for you to filter out the buyers that are just doing some maintenance on their site or changing hosting etc. but even if you disregard the HTTP response status codes and just do a bulk domain search you will get a lot of domains that are already expired. Personally I would assume that in these cases it is certain that these buyers really have abandoned their sites and they can be removed, or not?

Anyway, I will remove the links manually now and replace them with some active sites. If anyone is interested to have their site linked you are welcome to PM me and I will gladly add your link.

Interested, I manage to put a banner above those links but if I can edit the links manually that would be better

I never bought this service but I assure you the OP is very professional and really offers great information on how to make money with job boards - all my respect

does it support spanish language?

I do not understand what you mean by that question, you can translate the entire site to Spanish with an API for instance, the real question is, why would you want to do that?, you need to treat this for what it is a tool that can help people to get a job and you will profit helping them, that is why you promote the job offers and put them where people need them the most, these are REAL job offers, once I have said that if the job offers are real, they are in English, optimized to appear in certain places where people speak English, why would you want them in Spanish?.

You need to understand this is NOT an Autoblog, this is a money-making tool in an evergreen niche that used with the proper mindset and techniques can give you great results (see the testimonials of people already making money with it), most of the people who are NOT having results is because they are treating this tool incorrectly, as a filler or as an Autoblog or they think this is just another "quick-buck solution" or another "content spinner site" when in reality is a great digital asset.

I am sure one of the problems was our pricing strategy, we wanted to make it affordable to most people BUT it backfired us by giving it a low-value perception, prices will change soon to reflect the GREAT solution we offer.
