We are looking to hire 1 article writer for our organization. We have about 15,000 words per week we need written @ 1.00 per 100 words or $150 per week. We are looking to form a long term relationship with the right individual. We prefer native English speakers in the Americas, UK, or Australia due to colloquialism and idioms. We have deadlines that MUST be met in a timely fashion.

We require a resume, sample content, and we will provide the right candidates with a test article to write. If you have any questions please feel free to ask.

Thank you and best of luck

I have a friend looking for work, PM me with your contact info and I'll have him get in touch. He's a college-educated U.S. citizen, native english speaker.

Hate to break it to you, but skilled native-English writers don't work for $1/100 words.

    Cute.

Good luck finding a reliable native speaker that is willing to work for 1$/100 words.

Let me just tell you that I've got women from the US (20-40 years old, yes, I speak to them face to face so I know where they are from and who they are) working at less than $1/100 words ($100/month for 30 articles of 400+ words, most of the articles are 500-700 words and HIGH QUALITY)

Don't be hating, there are tons of people in developed countries that are in need of money or simply want to have some extra money at the end of the month.

The guy is paying $600/month for 60k words of content; there are plenty of people who would do that...

My suggestion for OP; don't look in BHW, elance/freelance/odesk.

And again, haters if you got nothing productive to say, head back to your hole to hire whoever you want at whatever rate you want.

Please take your non productive comments elsewhere and keep them out of my thread, thanks. I have worked with many content writers in the past and I know there are many people willing to do this type of work at these rates. Position is still open, feel free to PM me or post in this thread if you think this is right for you.

Tried PMing you, your inbox is full :(

Sorry I did not mean to hurt your feelings. I'm not a hater, just realistic with a lot of experience in the domain.

I am curious what level of work you are expecting? Do YOU have any samples of an article equal to the quality you expect of your writer?
I am interested in this job, but need to know the requirements. Please PM me.
    Regards,
    Hopeful

    Reyone,

I think it likely that what you consider "high quality' actually isn't. No offense. "High quality" content includes in-depth research, perfect grammar, sterling vocabulary usage and creativity. If you're telling me you get that for $1/100 words I simply don't believe you.

    Hopeful,

People who post these threads typically expect absolute perfection.

It's funny how when someone points out an unrealistic price for a service they're labeled a "hater." I don't have anything against the OP. I don't know him/her from Adam. The OP is trying to save money. I get that. It's just not going to work out for them in the long-run. Do I care? Not really.

One thing, though: A native English writer can go to sites like textbroker and make more than what the OP is offering. Those sites generally pay on time and don't require much 1 on 1 interaction with customers. What incentive is there for a semi-skilled writer to take on a private client at this price-point (and all the risk that goes along with that) when they can just go to a content mill? Why on Earth would a skilled native English writer? Desperation? Maybe. But those with actual skill tend to realize their worth eventually. The writer turn-over at this price-point must be crazy, and costly. (Time is money)

Hey man, that's fine, whether you believe me or not I'll still be getting them at this rate (less than $1).
And if you want to think that it is not well written, hey, that's absolutely fine. I know they are good because of the response they receive via Facebook/twitter and even G+ and the sales they produce...

The difference is that I hire writers that LOVE to write about the topics I give them. And believe me, when you can find people that actually enjoy writing about certain topics, they will have no problem in writing 600 word articles that are really enjoyable for users. It takes me about 5-6 days with them to refine their content structure; but really, once they pick up you are set. After the first month I give them bonuses and that keeps them going. Some leave, but recruiting new ones has never been a problem.

Of course, I am talking about writing on a decent size website that gets shared, liked and so on, hence people like to write even just for the exposure.

Then again, if you are looking for a SEO writer, fair enough, it will be hard to find someone to write about random topics and research about them for $1/100 words. But again, and I refrain back to my first reply; OP is offering a monthly contract in which a good writer would be able to generate that content fairly quick and still get 1/2 day off for their own shit.

I agree with you because I too have worked with others in the past that enjoy writing at these rates. They get the job done QUICK, which makes it worth their while.
