full time blogging business

I see many users on BHW who run automated blogs, get advantage of expired domains, write in niches in which they're not really interested in, just for the sake of money I guess

Do any of you here actually run a full time blog where:

1. You do it ouf of passion/hobby.
2. You are fully commited to it.
3. You make a living out of it and treat it as a full time involvment/business.
4. You write articles yourself or with help of other copywriters.
5. You don't use AI technologies, article scrapers/spinners.
6. You don't use blackhat seo tricks just to reach as many customers as possible.
7. You are not really in mindset of only "traffic traffic traffic money money money bring me more money!"

If you run a blog:

1. What niche do you write about ?
2. How long did it take before money coming in?
3. Why did you actually decide to run a blog instead of other businesses ? maybe passion for writing, desire to make money, helping people, desire to share your ideas with others etc. ?

3 - I do about 10 hrs a week on it
4 - 100% my own
5 - 0
6- 100% organic, no blackhat
7 - Nope, always focused on BEST CONTENT possible and stuff I love to write about


1 - Adventure, outdoors, tech
2 - 6 months
3 - I worked as content writer for many WP sites for ~3 yrs before deciding to write & self-publish all my stuff. Earnings mostly via affiliate, some YT ad revenue, some guest posts/backlinks

Earning ~$1k USD monthly. ~15k pageviews monthly, ~10k YT monthly views, ~20 videos and 100 articles.

6 months until any traction on google search results and income of ~$50-100 per month, then steadily climbed until the 1 yr mark where consistently over $500 monthly, now around 800-1k monthly.

Next up I want to put ~50 of those articles into video format, publish another 50 articles this year, and develop another domain, tourism niche local to the town I live in.

Make it YOUR content, the undeniably BEST content possible, and a lightweight, effective site.

How much time do do you take to prepare for an article (topic choice, research, draft) and how long does it actually take to write one ?

Just dont think so much and start it .Blogging its not something fixed and nobody can give you some exact stats because it depends on so many factors
And about making money .I know a lot of people that not they are making a living but they are crushing it
The thing its this people put the hard work ,have patience ,endure a lot of failures and never give up
The thing its if you want money fast and you give up its not for you
People who succed with bloging put the work ,have patience ,learn every day something new and again they just didnt know to quit

I understand I am just wondering how many users here actually run a blog and participate actively in it. I see many users creating threads about autoblogs with autoarticles, autoeverything which doesn't really seem like it is something they get into out of passion but just for pure profit

I am thinking about starting a blog, I do have some other existing businesses/hustles and try to get some information about blogging time consumption, so that I know what I would be getting into beforehand.
Money is definitely not the most important factor for me. I am rather looking for a place where I can create my own small world of ideas and information

I spend many many hours on an article to make it THE BEST possible on the internet.

For example for a speaker review I have 3000+ words on it, many images, disassembly images, frequency response graphs, GIFs, and just the highest quality information split into 2-3 sentence paragraphs.

Most of my articles take about 1-3 hrs to write and then another 1-3 hours to do images, interlinking, editing, affilitate plugs etc. Generally a whole day from first word to polished publish

Well the fact that you have another income its the best thing for you because if you just depend on bloging to make money to get food ,pay bills etc you can go crazy
Firstly making money with bloging its a steady and slow process and it can take a considerable time to get a profit
Many people start a blog in hoping they will make a profit in a month or two and they can make a full time income and they live a big disapointment
I dont say bloging its bad to make money but if you want fast results its not the right choice ,but if you pay the price its well worth it as it can give you a passive income for many years ,
My advice to you its to start bloging and learn as much as you can because knowledge its power but also dont forget to write articles on a consistent basis ,sometimes the hard work makes all the diference
Try to have a balance between quality and quantity ,to make you understand its you need to write quality articles and also some quantity .You cannot expect the break the sky with just 2 or 3 excelent articles .

I still want to do a little more research and gather more information about running a blog like available tools for writing optimization (speed, quality), costs etc.
I think If I am to throw myself into it I'd start with a really small and specific niche like for example writing only about "Audi A4 wheels" and then expand towards the whole automotive branch/other topics. This way I think it'd be easier and more enjoyable for me to learn.
