What the fuck kind of market is eBay?!

I am doing some business with some legit suppliers in China. I get some inventory for them and list on eBay.

I sold a few items without problems. Buyers are happy, etc.

Then I get some e-mails from VeRO saying that my listings are going to be taken down. Now, I am not a PowerSeller and doing 1M+/month in sales. So I feel eBay/VeRO is acting the smaller sellers.

My Chinese Contact confirms that he suppliers the other PowerSellers items, and they are having no problems.

Because these people are doing 100K+ in sales each month, and have 50K+ positive feedback, no one questions the authenticity of their items, and they are able to avoid any problems with eBay and Rights Owners. Of course, these users are business with a buisness name and Tax ID, so it makes them look more professional, people arent going to question them.

[Items mementioned are AAA Replicas. It's amazing that there can be no differents in 'real' and replica goods from China.]

EDIT: I also fell VeRO/Rights Owners are using these as a way to shut down people who are selling brand name goods -- real or not -- as a way to maintain "brand value" by ending listings from people who are offering items below MAP.

EDIT: Also, anyone can fake and claim to own rights to an item, all you need is a fax machine, and you can end peoples listings without any further words.

I don't want to expose any niches...

.. but a few of my powerselling friends were getting real items from autherized dealers to get VeRO of their back, and after a while, they stopped bothering her, and once that happened, she just got her items from China.

He build up that trust, and has had over 100K items sold without problem!

It fully does. My items are getting VERO'd pretty frequently now where as powersellers are not :banghead:

You're making over 1 million a month and you're still not a power seller? How come?

    Indeed, and it's rather upsetting.

I meet the selling standards for the first month, so I am going to keep selling 1K+/month for the next 2 months to get PowerSeller status.

I also think having an eBay Business account with an actual company and EIN helps.
So I am in the process of forming an LLC for the niche I want to sell products in so I look more official. People don't usually question an actual business.

Ebay is paid by the larger companies to limit the competition. Perhaps that is why your listings are being cancelled. It would depend on what you are selling and how much volume you are selling. For example, If I started selling hundreds of sony ps3's a day, ebay would make up some gay excuse to put a limit on my account. It has happened to me before. It doesn't seem fair but I guess they are allowed to do it....

Im not sure if that is the situation with you though because you don't mention what you sell and how much of it you are selling

i know what you mean man i hate ebay just about as much as i hate paypal i just find it so funny that they would vero my auction but there is 100 other auctions selling the same shit using the pictures they stole from my auction hmmmm so i did the whole multiple ebay account thing for a while shit like that
Also when you get vero to many times they notify paypal now paypal locks up your fucking account and you have to send them all this info....so i just got out of it sold all my stock at my local swamp meet and walked away

sad part was is i was making good money and nothing but positive feedback from my customers

Its the powersellers who are reporting you most likely... Just like the a-holes who flag CL ads just to squash their competition... You gotta be fierce to play the replica game, and its dam risky too... too risky for me:)
