Fucking Evil-Librarys and Download Sites

If you live in a metropolitan area, you can often pay the librarys to sponsor a short message for you like "Download free books and movies at http://www.yoursite.com"

I saw this TWICE tonight while out and about the town, the trick appears to be hosting a decent looking whitehat site where you download a few hundred books from the gutenburg project.

Also upload a couple of public domain movies.

Then include shitloadddssssss of links for various other hot movies/games and have them point to an aff. program for some of those download sites out there.

Disguise it as "premium membership"

I called one of the librarys I saw this on and they said the guy paid $500 for the week.

No doubt he got at LEAST a few thousand visitors.

That is pretty creative. Is the advertisement placed on an outdoor LCD sign or checkout receipt? Excuse the ignorance, I live in a pretty rural area...lol.

this works also with newspapers...put in a small ad that you are giving away ebooks, software what ever for $1 or lower ....people will storm you site
normal small newspaper ads go for $30 or less....
