For removing the ability to move apps from internal storage to external on Android.

Didn't see this coming. I was positive it was going to be a "I clicked my ads and now I am banned" thread.

Nah, that would be retarded if something like that came from me.

I'm just mega pissed at how Google screwed over Android users who want to store apps on their external SD cards. An 8GB phone/tablet is pretty much useless. Out of the 8GB you will only get 4GB usable, and this fills up pretty quick. I personally would not get anything with less than 16GB but this was for someone else. You install two games on the device and your left with a "not enough memory" message. Feels like buying a cheap Chinese copy at a premium price and then being like oh man it looks the same but it doesn't work the same... I managed to get things working with an app called "GL to SD" but IMO the way this works is still a shitty solution.

Root it and there are some apps that does the job pretty easily.

Not really, it's all messy and doesn't work on every device. Like I said, I got "GL to SD" working which requires root, but that's still a shitty solution.

I've spent the past few hours looking around on XDA and the best alternative is to swap internal with external space, but that could mess things up.

Apps like Link2SD are rubbish. It works by partitioning the SD card and a 16GB one would get you no more than 2GB of app space.

nevermind, I have a solution for it. found it by accident though :)

download black mart alpha, then click on the application which you want to move to memory card and guess you are done!

only prob here is that the app is in alpha stages and may crash but it is the best app! it does what even apps like 'send2sd" cant do!

It even sends whats app to memory card :)

PM me if you get stuck.

you need a new phone. all of them come up with at least 16GB and that's surely enough unless you want to play some heavy games or you want to keep porn files there lol

It wasn't bought for me and to use some of the apps out there you need to be somewhat tech savvy. It's a Galaxy Tab 2 7 and here in the UK there's a lot of the 8GB versions available. You'd think that with an SD card you could store the data on that but no...
