Well i think what is going to work anymore is, seriously making awesome looking and very high quality site, then try to get your site reviewed mentioned at forums, and high authority networks, news papers.

I can't believe that you said this...do you really believe this is the end for us....I believe in folks like you and I think in time we will rise again. Painful and frustrating has been the last few days, but I have faith in the folks at this forum. To many smart folks here

You guys are all joking, I guess. Google is a machine with an algorithm (except maybe for very high end niches, with some manual tweaking). Imagine all the niches, all the languages, and start multiplying all of that, to get the order of magnitude of the challenge google faces to do anything manual.

So... any algo can be beat. The problem is things are flopping around and we are trying to figure it all out.

The problem google faces is when you do a tweak, it has a ton of unintended consequences. For example some say all off-theme links are getting devalued. Now thing about a whole bunch of niches that don't get on-theme links, and you understand their problem.

So future is as bright as the brain we have.

penguin will definitely sort the lazy ones and hard working
i lost about 50% of my income because of penguin
but instead of whining kept working round the clock and started getting back my lost revenue with new websites

my gutts tell me that seo game will never be over, but more and more lazy ppl will leave this

so it will definitely benefit hard working guys

Yes I agree, this is all about weeding out the lazy people that give up quick vs hard working that will continue marching forward...
