ftx and sol on death's doors?

Looks like Tron is doing some magic here. People rush to Tron, they gain $$$, then you pay that high price bonus to be able to withdraw from FTX.

Dunno if it'll work, but so far some people seem to be able to save some of their holdings (unconfirmed)

Why we should use SOL if we have Visa that is the same? 2 centralized options and at least visa does not fall X hours every month
- It doesn't take 1% fee for every transaction
- You don't have to reveal your identity
- You can do more than just payments
And btw SOL is not THAT centralized, but that's another day's debate.

Another case of "not your keys not your coins"

Exchanges are only good for buying Bitcoin then withdrawing, or depositing and selling. Everyone who loses with these scammers like Luna, Celsius, FTX/Sam, refuse to learn their lesson.

The value is in decentralization, Bitcoin, security & holding your assets cold storage.

True words.
But, this is too much for the average Joe to understand. This is the world we live in.

not super informed but ftx sounds screwed, SOL is in freefall and i have lots of withdrawals requested that may or may not pass through lol. this may be the poster child of "not your keys, not your crypto" for ages to come.
i think sol will be fine, in some years

Is it just me that thinks Sam Bankman-Fried smells like Bernie Madoff?

The dead cannot die
My opinion is as follows
I sold all the Sol coins back in early April
Now I'm just watching and sometimes I bet on short

SBF totally fucked everything up.

Even if SOL survived, I think it needs to die anyway.
Many alt coins to follow. Especially those which got launched in bull run just because of hype.

Interesting how things were much much worse when this thread was posted.

Crypto has survived pretty well IMO. Think of it. Do Kwon, Shu Zu or whatever, his partner, Sam Bankman and his girl....these people basically nuked crypto and here we are still.

Unless it gets further destroyed in the near future, the rebound should be glorious. The next halving is less than 2 years away folks!
