    Hey guys,

So I have a question, I want to add a video on the front page of my website. I will narrate the article that I had previously written for the page. From an SEO point of view, if I do not put the article in text wouldn't that affect my search results? Is it a good idea to put the video and then put the article below as well in text? or should I change the narration a little so it is worded a bit different than the article?

All replies would be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you.

I would say for sure have a text copy lower down. All news sites do it that way and without text content you aren't going to rank. Plus a good many people rather read an article than have it narrated so cater to both crowds.

Thanks. I was wondering the same thing.

Any idea if it's better to upload the video on youtube and then embed it to my website or upload it directly to the website using a video player plugin?
