I started Affiliate Marketing 4 days ago, and I have yet to make one sale. I've used several methods, including:
    • promoting videos that I created on Youtube.-100 views in one day per video
    • promoting and creating videos I found on Youtube (with a watermark and an affiliate link/link to a blog).-150 views per video
    • creating over 15 blogs based around trending searches on Google.-I had some success with gaining a lot of traffic with this (800 views per day), but no sales
    • Advertising on Craigslist.
    • Advertising on Backpage.
    • Advertising on Topix.
    • Creating a Pininterest account and linking to a blog through the image.
    • Creating a Tumblr account and linking to a blog through an image or advertisement.
    • Promting products through QR codes on various websites.

I'll admit, I wasn't expecting to make any sales for the first week or two, I really only wanted to test some of my methods out to see if I could drive any traffic to my websites/videos, but now it's time for me to actually start trying to make my first sale. I'll be using this thread to document my journey to my first sale (and hopefully my first check).

What I have to work with:
    • Adobe Premiere Pro CS3
    • Adobe Photoshop CS5
    • Adobe Dreamweaver CS5.5
    • An optional $30 to spend if necessary

What's my plan? Well first, I'm going to find a niche that's in demand right now and doesn't have a lot of competition. Second, I may go through with an idea that I had when I first started that includes using a pseudonym and a fake personality to sell something, or I may go through with something entirely different.
