Good evening everyone. After lurking this forum for quite a while, I believe I am finally ready to get my hands wet and give all of your great advice a try. Just some quick info about myself. I am 17 years old. I run a small gaming YouTube channel, and I am trying to upgrade my current pc so I can take my channel in a more serious direction. Summer is coming soon, and it is time for the AAA games to come out. The current pc I am running now can barely browse the internet without lagging at times if I have more than three tabs open. With the soon to be release of the new GTX 1080 graphics card, I believe this is the perfect time to get a new pc.

    So here is my plan.
    1) Create a website based around getting people to buy quality Graphics Cards and other PC parts on Amazon, which honestly is a great place to look for them.
    2) Write up a few product reviews and buyers guides on this generation's, and last generation's Graphics Cards and other PC parts with the Amazon Associates links to the products.
    3) Buy some unique targeted traffic from users here on Black Hat World.
    4) Use SEO techniques to get on search engines for more unique traffic.

Now I have $70 willing to invest in my efforts, which honestly isn't a lot of money so I will have to think of ways to really stretch each dollar thin if I want to make the most of them. I am also timing myself to see how quickly I can get this done. By June 15th, I'd like to be on the road to success. If I haven't gotten much progress since then, I will likely invest efforts somewhere else.

For now, I'll be working on step 1 over the rest of this weekend. I'll be looking around for a good website builder and cheap reliable hosting. Will update in the next day or so. Wish me luck, and all advice is appreciated.

Current Amount Of Money Earned: $0.00/$2,000.00

Thank you Krish. I realize it will be a lot of work; however, if it is worth doing it is worth doing right.

@op... A bit of tough love from me:

-You don't have enough money for your plan to work.
-You will not get enough sales from buying "unique targeted traffic" here (not for 70 bucks).
-You will fail miserably at getting organic SEO traffic. PC components niche? Come on...

If I was you I would seriously rethink that whole strategy of yours and take a different approach. Read this for starters:

    http://www.blackhatworld.com/blackhat-seo/making-money/359445-easy-100-day-perfect-noobs.html
    http://www.blackhatworld.com/blackh...mazon-newbie-friendly-phase-5a-published.html

I don't mean to bring your hopes down or anything. This can be done. Just not in short time span with 70 invested.
Both SEO and media buying would take plenty of time, money, trial and error.

If it's any help I can host your site for free. If you want it just let me know.

Oh really? I've visited the marketplace before. Seems like each service has to be approved by a moderator before it can go live. Wouldn't that mean they are trustworthy?

I've actually read the first link earlier today fanatik1389. Both links contain good info which I will thoroughly read, though I am curious. Why do you say computer parts isn't a good niche? I figured I'd pick a niche I was knowledgeable in so I could recommend people reliable products.
I would appreciate site hosting. Recommend any domain provider?

Competition. It's a tough niche to rank for. Really tough.

You are passionate about it and that's great. Stick with it. You wont have issues writing. You are not going to rank for it though.

Ok, you have hosting sorted. You can't pm yet so you'll have to add me on skype ( gn5008 ). I'll probably go to bed soon, so expect to hear back from me in about ~10 hours.

Godaddy will get you $1 domain without whois (new clients only). They might ask for id verification (id scan). Or dotster for ~4 per com domain (best com offer I could find) also without whois. Namesilo offers free whois but the price per com is around $9 I think. I prefer namesilo.

Good luck mate, I suggest you target long tail keywords as your niche is tough.

Alright, how about I pick a more specific niche. Like GPUs only? Or even more specific, like only Graphics Cards from Nvidia. Or how about just the Nvidia GTX 1080 since it is about to come out. Would I have a better chance ranking? I've added you, thank you for being willing to help. I may go with GoDaddy since I know people who have used them before.

Narrowing huh? If you type "gtx 1080" in google search you will see "About 15,800,000 results" dominated by big boys.

You might rank for "gtx 1080 capacitors resistance fluctuations"... :)

Don't worry about rankings for now. Driving social media/comments/forum traffic will do for starters.

I'm off to sleep. Will add you on skype to sort that hosting thing once I wake up.

I believe I read one post explaining how people using social media weren't necessarily in a buying mood. Is that untrue?

you must reconsider your niche. the gaming niche is heavily saturated with a lot of big sites.

    Thank you.

I figured that niche could support one more site since there are many already.

Just wanted to chime in and say that Fanatik is giving you the best advice possible.

Also, think about where people go when they are in a buying mood for PC parts. Straight to Newegg / Amazon / PC Part Picker / Reddit. Paid traffic from BHW is a waste of money, and ranking for PC parts is insanely difficult.

Not trying to be a downer, just trying to save you some time and money.
