Hey, this is yet another rant thread by me inspired by something someone asked me on Skype. However, this is not a brag thread, it is a thread that is supposed to maybe motivate a soul out there to take action and for me to reflect on the past year (and how crazy it have been). We are not going to talk numbers here (besides the starting capital).

Last year, around January, I had $100 on my PayPal account. I had started a site in September the prior year (2014) monetized by Amazon but without any idea of what I was doing, no background research on the niche, no keyword research nor any prior experience in SEO. I started it, put up 2,500 words on the website and saw that it was bringing in $16/mo. I didn't think much of it at all from what I remember. But I felt like I was onto something.

I got help by antichrist on here a lot and he told me to add more content to the site and gave me a lot of tips (I will forever be grateful for that Neil!). I started making more and more each month until I felt like I hit some sort of peak and sold it off for a nice sum. I look back at that site and see how many mistakes I made thorough the year and how bad it was looking (also the CTR was horrific in the beginning) but at the same time - I learn from my experiences.

The sites I have made are far from perfect and I am still trying to make my process better with trying different keyword methods for example. But what have made me money is not necessarily how fucking awesome I make my sites, the perfect SEO both on and off-page my sites have nor anything like that. It is based on the fact that I took action and risked all of my money.

I have always invested 100% as the money I have all come from internet marketing. My first site was a GTA hacking site where I copied all the hacks from other GTA hacking sites and hoped for the best. It didn't turn out great at all. I have had 2 YouTube networks where I have went negative while working on it for 10 hours a day as well as uploading a lot of Game hacks on YouTube getting a few dollars per day from PPI. What made me able to risk 100% of my income is the fact that I live at home (I am 17) so that is a huge advantage of starting early - as well as I haven't really lost anything if this goes back to $0. I started with $0 and I had a blast.

This year, I am fortunate enough to be able to support two people and help them put food on the table for their families (as well as making my process easier for me), they work for me for 6 hours respective 10 hours a day. I am looking a lot forward towards what other ventures I will enter in the upcoming years and what the future have to bring in general.

It does not matter how much you have on your bank account right now, how old you are nor anything about your background. If you take action, you should be successful. If you say that you have tried all the methods on here, you are just not fighting enough to make money because all of the methods on here can be scaled as well as solid start capital methods. I picked a $5-$10 day method and made some money, which helped me fund the first Amazon site.

I don't really know what I have written right now, I hope it was useful for someone at least.

    Thanks for the great share.

Yes if you have a will to work and stick with it and find a mentor to help along the way you can do anything you really want.

the issue now days is everyone wants it now. In this business its not about now but about how long you can stay.

Slow and steady will always win the race.

    Keep up the great work.

Its something to be proud about when you know you are helping other people.

    Time flies by really fast.

I've got a blog that's a year old. I started it on this exact date last year. I kept saying "Imagine where you'll be in a year." That blog led me to product creation, which led me to providing services for businesses offline, which led me to paid public speaking gigs.

    Here I am.

You never know where your journey will take you. But you do have to start somewhere, and keep going.

I'm in the same boat as you in regards as taking risks with my money. I'm young and have my whole life to dig myself out of a whole if I get in one. Everyone around me thinks I'm stupid, but everyone around me is too scared to take make those necessary ballsy moves to get ahead.

If it isn't IM that makes me rich then it will be something else. I'll get there eventually.

Hekke, you have been a big source of inspiration for my own IM journey which is about 12 month old now.

It took me 10 months to make $100 from 2 Amazon affiliate accounts. I persevered.
It then took me another month to make the next hundred.
Last week, I made over $100 for the first time...

Not huge sums of money, but it's catching my full-time day job up fast. I too am reinvesting everything I make and reading as much as possible on BHW.

Good luck to all of us and thank-you Hekke.

Totally, it is also a good way to force yourself to work. I need to prepare work for my employees so that they can work as well as a responsibility since you have 2 people that rely on the fact that I continue making money and can support them.

Exactly! All you need to do is to start, and once you have started there is no looking back. The project might be a gain of knowledge or money, or why not both? Glad to hear that it is going well for you! :)
Thanks BTB! You've been a big inspiration for me and a lot of other people on BHW, thank you for that! :)

Good job! Just keep hustling it out and you should make it big! :)

One is a writer and the other one is a VA that is helping me with vice versa stuff I get him to work on. :)

Thanks a lot everyone for reading my post, it was a rant I made after going into the shower last night. So might be a bit weirdly written (I didn't check what I wrote after it was written). :)

well it was a long time ago, when i was first introduce to IM, i didn't had the money or the resources to even buy my first domain (no bank cards + no money to spend) A good friend of mine paid for the website he said pay me when you start making money. It was luck that put me on the right track surrounded by right people that helped me achieve what i have today. I have helped couple of people start their IM journey in sort of (domain/hosting, some time links, guide) i am no guru i just know basic stuff and you don't really have to be a guru to make a residential income from IM. Last but not the least BHW has been a big part of this journey.

I love it when I read posts from winners! It's the attitude, everything else comes from it.
