That last line really shows your commitment. I hope you evolve into the person you want to become and live the life that you want to live.
Good luck on your journey! :o

Deleted all seriousness to make your post look stupid.

Just kidding, gonna keep the 'why' for me. Thank you! I must confess, I was the definition of a lazy shitbird this far. Way undercommitted. Only sent out ~40 letters. 11 to businesses with crappy reviews.

Out of this 11 letters, I've managed to get (only) one appointment at this time, which took place about 2 hours ago. Five star hotel. Went terrible. Why? The guy I met didn't even read the statistics and infos that I've sent him. (I've sent him infos twice before our meeting took place.) He constantly talked down the power of reviews, it was like talking against a wall. In addition to that, he called one of his salespersons to join the meeting. This guy acted like he didn't even knew those Google ratings are an evaluation of the companies service. He said that he thought it was a rating of a companies website.

:bsflag:

And guess what... his boss backed it up, acting like he believed it, too. What the f*ck? Next time someone plays me for a fool like those guys did, I'll simply end the meeting. Sience his boss was already trying to make a comparable mechanism work by his own, I'll move on and see this meeting as what it was: Time wasted on a guy playing me for a fool acting totally stupid, trying to get as much info out of me for free as possible.

Another lady of the bad rated business-batch called me 2 times this far. Hadn't had the time to talk to her yet. Hairstylist. Promised her to call her back in one hour. Let's see how this works out. Can only get better, lol.

So, nothing special this far.

Action-Goal-No. 1: FAILED

Will prepare a new mailing campaign soon, as I've already learned much of my mistakes. Srsly, very much. Will keep you up to date.

Don't go for Hotels yet. They are a pain in the ass to convert. Try Restaurants, those are gold. :)
I also targetted what I thought were the 'big' players/spenders when I started years ago.
One naturally thinks if a business is doing lots of money they'd be more willing to spend.
But with money comes arrogance and ignorance.

Also, why are you pre-sending them statistics? Is there a specific reason why you do want to use statistics in the first place?

Keep it up!

Thank you!

Very wise words. Arrogance and ignorance describes exactly what I ran into today.

I include those statistic in my salescopy, because my initial sales letter (~4 pages) systematically proves that they lose money because of their bad rating. I've sent 11 of those. If it works? Judge yourself: Got two calls this far, one without a number. (Damn!) Following up, I've reached four more guys. One of those was angry, two sent buying signals like asking for a price etc and number 4 was the badass I've met today. Did not speak to the other guys yet, but will follow up again next week.

With the proper market, my letter should work like magic.

I really appreciate your hint, thank you very much. Will directly add this to my sheet of lessons learned: With money comes arrogance and ignorance. Approach the down to earth guys, like restaurant owners.

Edit: Just talked to the hairstylist. Damn fistor, you were so right. Was way more relaxed talking to her than this fancy guys like bridal stores and hotels. Did half the sale over the phone, she's talking to her team and will call me again soon. (If not, I'll do :la:) Got a good feeling about this.

Hey OP, GL!

Have you tried scraping emails and blasting them with your letters?

Imagine you send 100k letters and only a 0.1% converts, tats 100 customers bro from only 1 email blast. Imagine what 2+ blasts would do.

Thanks bro!

Unfortunatly, I live in Germany, where, as far as I know, they bust your balls as soon as you send anyone an email without having a double-optin. If that wouldn't be, damn, I'd be rich soon :D
